Best Buy

This is the absolute worst place to buy anything. Bought a $ 600 Samsung Smart TV this afternoon. Brought it home, hooked it up, and it just cycles from green, to blue, to white without a menu. It doesn’t work. Took it back to the store on the advice of Samsung customer service. Best Buy will nto take back the TV because it has a scratch on it. The scratch is not the issue, the TV does not work. Absolutely the worst customer service fiasco I have ever had in 35 years. Samsung is coming to my house to fix the TV, but it’s a piece of s**t.

Terrible customer service… employees know nothing and Manager knows even less about what’s going on in the store. This is by far the worst store I have ever been in. Wasted 20 minutes of my life in this poor excuse of a store. I’ll always go the Fry’s electronics instead of this shithole.

This is the worst ever best buy anyone can go to. The employees on customer service and customer service manager name Josh. Wuihhh… Stuck uppp. Such a snobbbb. Never see this type of employees in other best buy. Who do they think they are?
You guys better off to city of industry, west covina or even Chino. Don’t ever go to this best buy if you want to be treated like a human being.

This place is horrible! People don’t help you here at all, I don’t even know why I keep coming but every time I’m here no one asks me if I need help, staff is very neglectful of their customers– horrible horrible place

One of the best experiences I’ve had at a Best Buy in a long time. Was there shopping for a gift and was in between 2 camera models and the associate was very helpful and helped me make the right choice.

Came here to look for a new laptop for school
Ask for help I was greeted they told me a sales person there Carmen would helped me she helped another costumer, then after that saw me walked away when I asked for helped again she came back and helped someone else I was waiting half and hour just to get help they need more people on the floor. Now I gotta go take my money to fry’s

Best Buy isn’t known for their best prices. Because of this, I always price match Amazon (just make sure it is shipped and sold by
). With that said, make sure you check online before you buy anything because almost 100% of the time, I find a better price on another competitor’s page. The great thing about Best Buy though is the fact that they price match, so if you want something from Amazon or BH Photos, but can’t wait, just stop by Best Buy.
The 3-​star review is based on my experience here. I grabbed about 5 – 6 GoPro Hero4 accessories, one of them being the 3-​Way (stick). There were no sales associate nearby. If there were any, 3+ people would hover near them, asking questions up and down. So, I just grabbed my items and asked the cashier if he knew if the 3-​Way arm is compatible with the GoPro Hero4. He said he didn’t know and that I should go back to the general area and ask someone there. –_​_​– Thanks for nothing.
I walked back and luckily, I found Valery (I think that’s how you spell her name). I explained to her the situation and she told me that the 3-​Way arm is compatible, and since the one I grabbed was an open-​box item, she gave me 10% off. I went back to the cashier and informed him what Valery said and he began to ring me up. This very same cashier, charged me twice for an item so I had to go back to Customer Service to get my refund.
Such a hassle for a few items totaling ($ 190). Seriously… I just needed a few items, but was bombarded with such inconvenience from a poorly trained associate. If it weren’t for Valery and the CS associate, I would surely have gave this place 1 or 2 stars…

I don’t normally post reviews but this store is seriously neglected by its staff… So maybe this can help bring more attention to the quality of the store.
I came in to look for a few DVDs ive been hunting for… And figured to finally hit up best buy bc best buy in general has a large variety. And I need to browse for prices on other things. But with this location their inventory just sucks. And the workers act like they could careless. The whole point of being there is to give assistance but instead they just make the chain look bad. And it looks like a version of Ross at the end of its day. The manager should really focus on customer service, their employees more wisely upon hiring and the presentation of the store.

Came here to purchase a the new fitbit blaze and we were lucky because we got the last black one! This item was not out on the floor so ask for it.
The workers here are attentive. We were asked multiple times if we were helped and we had already been.
Easy process close to home.

Do you know why people go to chain stores? Because they are all the same. They sell the same products, have the same interior, and policies etc. But that’s not the case with Bestbuy. I do not know why, but every store is drastically different from another.
So let’s talk about this pit hole. As you get in you see that the store is not managed well. They should hire a merchandiser. Because stuff just laying around everywhere. It looks like discount store, such as Ross. And have they heard about restocking? I think, no. Because they never have stuff in stock. Isles are just empty.
Customer service is another downer. Guys are mostly incompetent and do not even know the locations of the various departments. I asked where a can find headphones and guy vaguely directed me somewhere and told me ask another representative.
So do not even bother coming here, since they wouldn’t have item you need anyways. Order online, guys

Horrible customer service. Stopped by on a Thursday to buy a fitbit. Asked 2 different sales associates for help. They all said they would send someone over to help. Less than 5 customers in the entire store.
I only needed an associate to open a locked display case to make my purchase. They made me wait 30 minutes and still no help at all.
On my out the assisted were simply chatting along instead of helping customers.
I rather take my business somewhere else. In the time I waited I could have driven down to frys and made my purchase.

There are only a few things I can say about this place. Parking sucks. Takes a long time to find someone to help & what I need seems to not be in stock or only available as a refurbished item.

Horrible customer service!!! Never buying anything from Best Buy ever again! Their policies are unrealistic; if you pay a over priced amount to begin with you should at least be able to exchange and or return with realistic time expectations.

To be honest i just go in here to play video games. SO I LOVE IT
I came here a couple of days after Christmas so everything was all out of place and messy. I have been in this store when it was alot neater so i have seen it better.

It’s a chore coming here. Worst «help». Worst in-​store dvd selection. Look left. Look right and your bound to find ⁴⁄₅ employees on there phones and annoyed if God forbid you have a question or are looking for something beyond arms reach.

This Best Buy location always is lacking merchandise. They need to restock on items and have more of a variety, If you dont see something you want, make sure you ask the workers. They might have them in the back. They wouldn’t let me exchange a product I purchased without the receipt. I was able to exchange my go pro without a receipt from another location! I cant speak for others, but from personal experiences, I have had some workers ignore me when I was clearly looking for something and I had asked, «Do you work here.» And they tried to rush me off.

I hate to do this but it is a must. I don’t even want to give 1 star. I first went to Best Buy in Glendale and purchased an open box laptop after constant reassuring that it was in perfect condition. It wasn’t the router was corrupt and Geek Squad said I had to return it. Though sold a bad computer I must say the customer service was wonderful.
I went to the Montebello store’s Geek Squad so it was convenient to exchange there. When I got there, there were no other customers waiting. I waited for literally 45 minutes and there were now 6 customers looking bewildered at the fact that there was no one on the floor besides 2 workers who were still busy. When a worker finally came over after I asked twice that they request help, the guy looked at me and then asked the gentleman behind me if he needed help!!! The gentleman advised him that I was there before him.
After stating what I needed and my plight, he advised there was nothing in my price range for what I wanted. I then asked him to check the open box stock, he passed me along to another worker.
Though the young lady was way more helpful, the 2^nd laptop purchased (for more money) will not charge!!!
I am beyond frustrated with this whole experience but will be going back to just get my money back.

Despite the numerous low ratings this store received, I did not encounter any issues during my visits. I don’t frequent here often — mainly just to pick up online orders or unless I really need store rep assistance.
I came in awhile back to pick up my Apple iPad of which I had ordered online. No problems there — it was a quick and easy process.
This week, I came into the store with the Apple MacBook in mind. We were in the Geek Squad looking at the laptops, and debating whether or not it was worth the price. I initially had a few questions regarding the MacBook, but they were all answered by Carmen. It was very nice of her to tell me about the additional savings for students! I didn’t know they were still doing that deal, so it was great getting an additional $ 50 off.
Phillip ended up helping me check out. He was very friendly and patient. All my questions and concerns were addressed before I left the store. Grateful for great customer service from both of these individuals!

Poor customer service by floor Manager by the name of Frank. Three items on the selve with the price of $ 179.99; two white beats, one grey. Both came up to different prices, again no price tag on shelf, no price on items. Yet couldn’t not honor the fact employee do not merchandise correctly or employee failed to price headphones. Thank you for the terrible service Frank. Definitely not coming to your location again.

I don’t even know where the hell to begin with this place. Ok, let’s start from the first time we came. My sister’s MAC had a freaken virus… MAC’s don’t get viruses you say? Ha! Jokes on you. She takes it to the Geek Squad because she bought some sort of protection package when she got the computer and we had to wait about 30 minutes to even speak to someone… yup I timed it. What do you know? It doesn’t cover THAT particular problem, she will need to pay another $ 200 plus dollars for ANOTHER protection plan and was told that even if she took it somewhere else, she will probably get charged more. She is so lucky she has me in her life because being the intelligent human being that I am (haha! I even laughed at that one), I told her to take it to Apple since the computer is less than a year old. Yup, they took care of it for FREE.
Second time I come here is with my mom, bro, and I. We are business people, that’s just who we are, and my brother was looking to buy several laptops and 32″ TV’s for a business he is opening back home. Not a single soul helped us, asked if we were looking for something in particular… nada. I wonder off because I thought it would be a good idea to get a Go Pro, cause, you know, all the cool kids have one. I can’t find them so I ask a sales associate strolling by the area where they were and I can’t even make this up, he points into space and says they are «somewhere over there.» Needless to say they didn’t sell a Go Pro that night.
Back to my brother. Still no help, so we get the 6 laptops we needed and head to the cash register. Once there the chick carries all the laptops back to where the computers are and tells us we have to pay there. Had someone remotely helped us out, they would have saved us the trip to the front. As she is walking us back there, she asks if we are taking the computers out of the country with zero explanation on why she was asking. I am sure there was a reason for her asking but since she didn’t give us one, I am going to assume she assumed we were wetbacks trying to reselling them in TJ.
She leaves us without a word and takes off. At this point I am over it, my brother is over it, my mother is over it we just want to pay and get the hell out. In fact, my brother was so pissed he decided not to get the TV’s from them at all. Once the manager and the new cashier saw how many laptops we were buying, they start kissing our asses. Too late: I am over your lame ass store, with your lame ass employees, and your lame ass space pointing.
Cherry on top: The people that shop here are ghetto as fudge too… some random ass chick bumped into me and scratched my arm (literal blood came out) with whatever the hell she was holding and didn’t even say sorry or excuse me. I will NOT be setting foot in this store ever again.
