Established in 1970.
Bob Jugan started the business in 1970 and his son, Bruce Jugan, took over in 1993. We’ve been helping people for over 4 decades. We specialize in health insurance for individuals, families, small and large businesses. We represent Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Kaiser, Blue Shield, Health Net, CIGNA and many others. We’re certified to help people enroll in Covered California and SHOP.
Our approach is to help our clients understand their medical insurance options and to let them decide which plan best fits their needs. We want long-term clients who rely on us to help them when they have questions or problems with their insurance.
We are active in the professional association for health insurance agents and stay up-to-date on the latest changes in the field.
Meet the Business Owner
Bruce J.
Business Owner
Bruce graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and he has a master’s degree from New York University. Bruce worked as a consultant for many years in New York City before returning to California to help his dad run the family-owned insurance agency. He has been a licensed insurance agent since 1993.
He is an active member of the professional association of health insurance agents (LAAHU) serving on the board of directors and as the program chair. Bruce has been a member of the Montebello Rotary club since 1994. BenefitsCafe.com has been a member of the Montebello and Santa Monica Chambers of Commerce for many years.
Bruce was a member of the US National Fencing team and a participant in the Olympic try outs for épée fencing. He is an international fencing referee and a certified fencing instructor. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
