Terrible people. I called them and they refuse to talk on the phone. Just ask me to leave a message and hang up. Later they called me back saying 700 USD to fix a window crack less than 10 inch. After I questioned about the price, they started yelling F word to me. Then I immediately responded that I gonna post some review online. Then they started harassing me by calling with a No ID phone again and again. This is kind of funny. I am not even angry lol. Do those guys really want to do business or something else?
seriously？After your misbehavior, you called me a competitor? LoL, this is the most funny drama I have even seen. Anyone questioning my identity as a customer, just leave a message or something to contact and I will try to justify myself. Meanwhile I got couple of friends working on local media. Don’t be surprised when you see this drama reported on Internet media.

Unfortunately, last weekend I managed to severely damage my windshield on my BMW 650I. The crack was larger than 6 inches and I knew from a prior experience several years ago that it would need to be replaced, not repaired. Most insurance policies cover minor repairs to windshields without having to pay your deductible, but this was well beyond that point and I figured I was in for a bill upwards of $ 1300 for a new unit from the stealership.
Well, I was about right with my estimation and just the OEM windshield from the dealership runs $ 1200 in addition to the cost of installation… It was definitely time to search for an alternative!
After a fairly lengthy conversation with Jason (the owner) at windshield wonder I decided this was the place for my replacement. I was quoted $ 480 for the part including installation. Jason promised a lifetime warranty against air leaks, water leaks, and stress cracks (cracks originating from the perimeter of the windshield with no signs of impact). He was sure to ensure the rain sensor and condensation sensor pads were reinstalled properly on the new glass.
They were able to come and do the repair the same day! the new glass was installed in under an hour (in my office parking lot, how convenient) and looks great. Yesterday it rained and I confirmed the rain sensor was functioning and there are no air or water leaks that I can detect so far.
5 stars for an excellent turnaround time, rapid on-​site installation, and quality of the installation by his team, all backed by a lifetime warranty. I walked away a happy customer with an approximate $ 800 savings over what the stealership would have charged.

Finally got a call back after my original post where I stated I was hung up on… they don’t service Edison and are only mobile so I can’t rate them for work but atleast they Called back
I clearly edited the review that you called back… when I wrote the review it was 20 minutes before you even called back and you can’t delete reviews which is why I modified it from a 1 star to a 3… and you did hang up but I guess we will stick to your story of your finger slipping or disconnection… im not punishing you guys just writing my experience… you would too if you were hung up on… so again as I stated in my edit… I can’t give you a rate on business which is apparently highly regarded, but your customer service could be better… entitled to my opinion. .first impressions are always lasting ones sir

I WONDER why I called this place!!! Came without the rubber molding for the windshield and then told me it would cost more. We asked how much more and although he talked a lot he never answered rather turned around and walked away. Very unprofessional and disappointing, Found a reputable place and the cost with the rubber molding is the same. Beware there are laws about jacking up estimates in NJ. And to Mr. Wonder please dont respond with more double talk.
And yet you responded. You knew the ENTIRE situation, you saw my car, you knew it was a convertible and you gave me the PRICE and yet you came unprepared on Friday, your workers were not told it was a convertible and that is when you came by all ready to increase the price. Your comment is BS like the nonsense you said on Friday.

They deserve 10 stars! Called in the morning to get a quote about restoring the cloudy and yellow headlights on my car to their original condition. Jason quoted me $ 95 and showed up at my office three hours later. Within 45 minutes the headlights looked brand new! Worth every penny! He Also informed that in the rare event they cloud up again, he would come out and redo the process free, for as long as I owned the vehicle. Can’t beat that! Great service!

Windshield got hit by a rock or something falling off an overpass on the Parkway. There was an incredibly loud bang and a large pea sized crack. It was too late to do anything about it last night but I called Jason this morning as soon as his website said the business was open. He called back quickly and agreed to come this morning. Jason arrived right on schedule and the fix was quick and painless. I especially appreciate that he came out on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend when he wasn’t really working!

*RESPONSE TO OWNER’S TWO COMMENTS FURTHER DOWN IN REVIEW*
I’m only going to state facts in this review. After having trouble with my rain sensor after my windshield replacement, Jason (the owner) is now refusing to do anything about my rain sensor which isn’t functioning at full capacity and wasn’t installed correctly (particularly the gel pad for the rain sensor).
Ever since the replacement, my rain sensor has a tendency to allow a lot of water to accumulate on the windshield before the wipers activate. This is most likely due to the fact that my rain sensor is filled with air bubbles, and the gel pad (maintains optical clarity for IR sensors), was cut incorrectly, and prevents close to 50% of my rain sensor from «seeing» the rain.
To add to that, the air bubbles and cuts are aesthetically unpleasing and are very noticeable, if my car wasn’t like that before the replacement then it shouldn’t be like that afterwards. (Companies like Safelite even replace the sensors in this situation).
I gave Jason a call today expressing my displeasure with the rain sensor job. He was very nasty and kept claiming that «it works.» I kept telling him that it was inconsistent and a lot of water had to accumulate at times before it activated, but he didn’t care as long as the wipers activated at some point.
Again, he was very nasty and asked me if I was an «expert» on rain sensors and windshields. He then continued to argue with me over the phone, and became very defensive, claiming that «he doesn’t know how my original rain sensor worked.» The phone call ended with him telling me that he has other customers (which were obviously more important than me) and that he’s hanging up.
So that’s the type of company this is. Money grabbers who don’t care about customer satisfaction.
If the owner of the company is willing to hang up on a customer what does that tell you?
I referred one of my friends to this company, and by losing me this company has lost 2 customers and any other referrals. Customer satisfaction goes a long way, but Windshield Wonder, specifically Jason doesn’t agree with that.

I would like to start off by saying that while it is true that my vehicle was worked on 3 times. However, his reasons listed are false.
1^st visit– Windshield replacement
2^nd visit– Confirmation of faulty rain sensor caused by lack of gel pad
3^rd visit– Application of new gel pad (which was installed as pictured, but I was told by the technician would go away with the sun in December)
Being that December-​March was snowing, cold, and barely sunny, I held off calling about the issue because the sun didn’t have enough time to penetrate. I believe I called Jason again in March or April to notify him that the sensor remained the same, but he insisted the sun would make it go way. Now that the weather has gotten nicer and the sun has been blazing, it still remains as pictured so I called again in today, in May.
Another false statement from Jason is that I informed him that «[me] and another company both worked on and opened the gel pack pad.» I simply told him that I took a closer look at the sensor with a flashlight (my iPhone flashlight – positioned like in the attached photo) to take a better look at the sensor to see what the air bubbles were covering. This is when I noticed that my gel pad was improperly cut, and cut too much for the optical eye, another reason why the sensor looks as pictured.
Personally, I believe that Jason’s attempt to cover up the aftermath of the installation with a bogus story proves that he acknowledges the installation is poor.
Knowing that I had a 1yr warranty, why would I risk altering with the gel pad on my own?
Also notice that Jason DID NOT deny his nasty remarks that he made to me over the phone in his comment.
Since his story is bogus, and I did not alter the gel pad, his refusal to fix the gel pad means that he doesn’t honor his warranty either.
SECOND REPLY TO OWNER:
Regardless of whether the warranty was 1 year or lifetime, why would I PAY another company to try to «work on the rain sensor gel pad?» I’m obviously making an effort to try to get this problem fixed under warranty, so the bogus story of having it altered by another company doesn’t make sense. If hanging up on customers and questioning their expertise is considered «professional,» then so be it, why did you not address that point in your original response? Additionally, what proof do you have that I altered the rain sensor gel pad? All you’ve done is make up the story but failed to back it up with any facts. The sections of the rain sensor that don’t have bubbles are originally sealed, NOT resealed, so it wasn’t altered with and the story is bogus. Jason just doesn’t want to fix it because «it works.» Whose story sounds more believable? You decide

They gave the best quote of the 4 places I called. Came and did the job quickly and were punctual. Very polite, work was done well. Best of all it was a great price!

All these 5-​star reviews are not BS. These guys are real deal pros. Their pricing will blow away outfits like Safelite who nickel and dime you with extra charges like glass disposal. And the WW guys come to your house at no extra charge. That’s an extra $ 30 fee from Safelite! Jason and Derrell The Yankee Fan called in advance to let me know they were coming and asked if it was ok to come early! Not like the cable guys who keep you imprisoned all day waiting for them. The job was completed in no time, repairs were made to areas that were done incorrectly by the previous car owner, (they probably went to Safelite…), everything was cleaned up, bill paid, and they were on their way to make another customer happy. Very satisfied with the job. Highly recommended. You won’t be sorry.

I’m so pleased with my windshield install! I had an appointment with a different company for a week, until they called me the night before to cancel. Immediately I pulled up Unilocal for other companies and found Windshield Wonder. They returned my call right away, provided an even better quote, and were able to come out two days later. The installer was on time and professional. Ultimately, I’m sorry I didn’t call this company first! They were excellent.

Jason from Windshield Wonder was awesome! He came out to my house the next day after contacting him for a rock chip repair I had on my windshield. He arrived right on time and was done with my repair in literally 25 minutes. Jason was so knowledgable and kind enough to give me some advice about contacting my insurance for reimbursement of the repair (Thanks Jason!) Honestly I am so happy I contacted Jason from Windshield Wonder & I will definitely contact him again for any future repairs!

Best place to go to for a windshield repair and/​or replacement! Very professional and def do an excellent job! Reasonable and fair prices as well! Got the job done same day my windshield cracked!

Jason came out to me and replaced the windshield on my car in a half hour. Safelite and my dealer quoted me for double what Jason charges, and they said that it would take them two hours time to do the same job Jason did in thirty minutes.

These guys are the best! Jason was an absolute pleasure to do business with, extremely honest and patient. After driving out to where I worked, he walked me through the whole process and treated my vehicle with the utmost respect.
Jason replaced my windshield with OEM parts for under a half of what the dealer quoted me. No one, not even the dealer would be able to tell the difference. In only an hour I had a brand new windshield.

These guys replaced my entire windshield for $ 300 and it looks great! Saw they had a lot of positive reviews on here so I gave it a shot and am very pleased by their work and especially the price! I had a nasty Rock Chip on the wind shield and was looking to get that repaired. There were a couple of smaller (barely noticeable) chips as well. They worked with me to come up with a schedule to quickly get this taken care of. Jason showed up and was really nice and informative on the entire process. The quality of work done was great and I have no complaints.
Some information for you:
This is a mobile business so a repair person has to come to you, you cannot drive in.
The price for the main rock chip was about $ 70, the two additional smaller chips cost $ 10 each.

Anyone with a chipped or cracked windsheld, don’t hesistate. Most likely your insurance will cover it to begin with, if not, James won’t make you fall off your chair.
