Rest & Relax Cleaning Service

I rented out a large 3 bedroom unit in my Montclair home, but previous tenant and cleaner had left a mess, and I was in a pinch to get it properly cleaned. Desperate, I asked my realtor and the new tenant’s realtor to recommend a service because I live out of state. Each, separately recommended Rest & Relax, and offered references — one a large church in upscale Upper Montclair, the other in South End, the predominately black middle class part of town with lovely homes. All the references raved about the detailed cleaning they received every week.
Much to my surprise when I called him, apologizing profusely for my time line, R & R owner was very accommodating. He sent in one of his new crews. My new tenant, a rather particular type, was astonished when she saw the PERFECT JOB they did. The price was very reasonable.
I would definitely use Rest & Relax again if they are available, and I recommend them without reservation.

I was shocked to read the previous review. I had them here this week as a Groupon coupon, and they did the best job of any cleaner I have ever had. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the hardwood floors were not just sprayed and swifter end, they were mopped, dried, then a spray which gave them a little shine. I had told them my priorities and they did a great job.
The woman with the billing problem… did she not notice they had not billed, did she really expect to not pay for services rendered… did she think, billing error in her favor… did she offer to work with them on a payment plan? I really think this was a sour exchange and no one was gonna shine,
I look forward to having them back… after my long time person «retired» I had a hard time finding someone I liked as well… but I will be sticking with this service.
