I ordered several fried chicken sandwiches. I actually gave my order several times, as I was asked what I wanted periodically after several intervals of strange silence. They did not have any juice or shakes, just coke and kola champagne… an interesting selection. When the delivery arrived, the food was all cold. The sandwiches were grilled rather than fried. They were very tasty, but they were very small. One little piece of chicken on a bun. Not sure I have ever seen that. It was less meat than a McChicken. It was like a chicken slider. It tasted really good though. I’ll give them a few more tries and then update my review.

GET THERE NOW. IMO — this is the best place in town for the money… if you like meats. Yes, simple menu, but easy. All the sandwiches/​platters are delish. The hummus and soft /​warm pita chips are some of my favorites. Give this place a shot if you’re in town, you won’t be disappointed.

Terrific food — very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. Sauces are great as well. Very consistent.

We got BLT gyro, bacon cheeseburger and cheddar fries. All were SLAMMIN! That bacon is the truth. Someone commented «everything is over seasoned», which Is kinda true and thats what makes it so good. Not bland at all. Hopefully it lasts because no restaurant lasts in that spot. Seems like it could be in a smaller spot.

Late night spots that offer great food are hard to find but Unilocal reviews about this place caught my attention so I figured I’d give it a shot. Their menu is limited so I was reluctant at first since nothing really sounded tempting until the gentlemen (and one of the chefs it seemed, I didn’t get his name… ughh) explained the menu.
You see there is no explanation on how the cheesesteak is made or what is included in the «platter» on the paper menu or board so you’re forced to ask which can be daunting for a first-​time customer. At least I hate to come across as that annoying and picky customer that has a question about every single item in the menu and if there are any alternatives available. Nonetheless, this guy was friendly, helpful and seemed to really know and understand his menu.
In an effort to avoid confusion (like I went through here), a platter for $ 10 is served with rice and a side salad OR you can get seasoned fries with a drink. I ended up with a chicken platter of fries and a drink when I only wanted a sandwich and a cheesesteak platter served over rice when I wanted it on a bun with fries. Not a big deal but I just don’t know at what point my order was miscommunicated.
The chicken was thin cut and had grilled marks on it. BIG plus. Personally I found it a bit over-​salted but perhaps the slice of cheese I added on was to blame. Still edible, still good. The lettuce and tomato on the chicken sandwich are seasoned. The seasoned fries were tasty, even cold, though they didn’t appear to be handcut fries. Cheesesteak was also good. You get two sauces per meal, I got the «twisted» blue cheese and hot sauce. Good addition to your protein dish.
Maybe my expectations were too high but based on the great reviews on Unilocal I was expecting Meat-​a-​tarian to become my go-​to late-​night spot. Despite my satisfaction with my meal last night, I’m sad to say it didn’t win over my heart (or stomach). Can’t say I’m a fan and that I will be advocating for this spot so an A-​OK will have to do.

Greaaaat cheesesteak gyros! The staff was awesome when we went last week. The wings were phenomenal. I would definitely go there again without a doubt. Wish I lived in the Montclair area. I would’ve ordered every week from them.

I mean… everything is overseasoned. I can’t say I’m a fan. But if I was craving some junk food at 11pm… I’d have their fries. Lol… their fries are good. So maybe they deserve a 2.5.
This spot is more so for college kids that are craving this kind of food in the middle of the night. But seriously everything is overseasoned.

I first ordered food from here with in a month of the grand opening. I ordered a salmon gyro and my co-​worker ordered a cheesesteak. Some of the cheesesteak and part of the roll it came on was burned. My co-​worker vowed to never order from here again. I had a generous portion of salmon. It looked perfect. Unfortunately, it was very bland. It wasn’t quite the experience I hoped for from this new establishment. The homemade pita chips were delicious! The pita chips were my favorite part of my experience.

I was in one of those grouchy moods where every single food suggestion sounded unappetizing. Found Meat-​A-​Tarian on Unilocal and decided to try it out. Did not regret it one bit.
The pork belly sandwich was yummy, but a bit too burned/​charred, losing some of its usual flavor. The cheesesteak though was excellent. Fries were good but paled in comparison to the garlic pita chips which tasted like they were doused in salt and deep fried. Being a sodium addict, I loved those pita chips!
Price is fair and our order was ready to pick up in 15 minutes after ordering from Eat 24.
Will add this to my regular rotation of «Cheap Eats» in Montclair.

I went on New Years Day and the place was empty. Probably many people thought it was closed. My wife and I were the only people in the restaurant and we were treated well and the food was amazing! Prices are great too! Cant wait to go back!

Didn’t go in with of a ton of expectations, but did notice it was extremely quite. If it were another day besides the day after Christmas and they had opened maybe 1.5 before getting there, I might of given a second thought. Any way I had the lamb gyro, but was not impressed. I guess since I have had plenty of lamb gyros in the past I was not expecting to get more like a ground type of lamb instead of sliced or shaved lamb. If the meat had been leaner it would not of been thst bad. The tiziki sauce was ok, but again not impressed. The fries were good. Before dismissing this place I would have to go and try something else, before dismissing it.

Lots of flavor in the cheesesteak and very reasonably priced! No delivery minimum or fee. Fries are amazing.

Food was on point! Love all the sauces. Try them all! Pita chips were crunch and delicious. Gyro’s are off the chain! Last night I was craving a cheese steak gyro with their crispy fries. MUST TRY: The bacon strips for an appetizer. They even have bacon & shrimp ceviche! Very flavorful combination. Loved it all!

To start off delivery took 45 minutes and the food was lukewarm. BIG UPS for paper delivery containers. Lack of heat aside, the flavor that was packed into the BLT is INSANE. Nice salty goodness with a slight burn from the chipotle mayo. The bacon is a tad chewy but the thick cut gives big flavor. The lettuce and tomato are cut well and fresh. The cheesesteak is unique, the meat is flavored with some middle eastern notes that stand out! The buns do not detract from the enjoyment of what lies between, a big plus in my book. I look forward to my next order, which hopefully will be delivered faster.

Everything we have had here has been top notch.
My favorite is the Red Hot Sauce that’s made in house– I have eaten a ton of hot sauces and this is by far the best I’ve Had.
Everything is super fresh and comes out super HOT.

Food was amazing. Ate at the restaurant on a Friday night at like 8 and there was no one there which kinda surprised me. Service was eh, they seem more of a delivery/​take out place but the food made up for it.

I see this place doing GREAT THINGS. I work for an electronics company next town over and one of our customers told us about this place. We ordered lunch from them the other day and we were IMPRESSED. I got the cheesesteak gyro which was so fresh and full of flavor. It was seasoned steak smothered with perfectly cooked onions and peppers. My other co workers got the chicken gyro, steak gyro, and the pork belly gyro. We all couldn’t stop talking about our meals. Everything had so much flavor and was the perfect amount of food to keep you full and not over stuffed. We cannot wait to order from this place again.
