I’ve only tried their donuts — lots of times! They are always tasty and fresh, never too sweet or stale. Great variety to choose from. Their regular coffee is also good. The family that operates this location is very friendly and courteous. Located in the Stater Brothers parking lot on Central Avenue.

Put your times on here so we don’t drive all the way for nothing. It is 2016 not 1995. Everyone has their times on the shop besides you buddy. Have a nice day make some do nuts

One of the few places around Montclair I can honestly say you have to try, especially if you live in the local area. I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed whatsoever with the service or food. Burgers, donuts, subs, whatever you want I’m sure you can’t go wrong.

Love, love, love this place. Johnny’s has great food for a reasonable price. We come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!! We came close to closing time and the owners son gave us a great deal on the last of the donuts! Highly recommend Johnny’s!

My husband works close by, he asked me to bring the kids and stop by for lunch. My husband ordered the italian sandwich(hot) they have special for kids. My kids got the cheeseburger and corn dog with fries and a drink for 2.50 i think. I got the ham sandwich(cold). My kids loved their food, my sandwich was average but my husbands was SOGOOD! Next time, thats what im ordering. My daughters burger looked good she said«it was bomb»…she’s 6 lol

I love johnnys it was the place I went to almost every day or every other day when I was in high school. And I go back every so often and they still know my order by memory. My father and I enjoy them so very much and they’re very nicely priced if your on a budget but not want to cook.(Why it was easy as a high schooler without a job to go here so often) haha

This place is rated a B. This place could be cleaner than it is. If you use your debit card they charge over one dollar. At times there are what seems to be homeless people outside panhandling. The food is average compare to most establishments alike. If you decide to eat there there is no AC in the place so it does get a little warm and uncomfortable to eat.

I actually only came here because I was craving a croissant and this place has really good reviews on Unilocal, but I wish Unilocal included the Restaurant inspection grade. Right when I walked in I saw the letter B, and started noticing all the little things. The tables and floor seemed kinda dirty, and the place can use some remodeling. The staff was friendly and I ordered a ham and cheese croissant which was pretty good, but my orange juice tasted kinda funky. For the price I guess you can say this place is ok, but it definitely needs improvement.

Been coming here for years, all throughout high school I’ve literally tried everything on the menu at least twice! Everything is delicious and the price is great definitely recommend they’re teriyaki beef bowl as well as their cheeseburger junior special which only comes out to $ 3.00 with tax and fills you up every time! Great customer service and will continue to go for years to come.

Went here while I waited for my car to be done and I was not disappointed at all. I had a cheese burger combo and it was amazing. They staff was super friendly and the service was fast. My wife got breakfast and she was loving it along with a Thai tea. When I’m in the area I will definitely come back

Donuts r yummy here. However, I don’t recommend the $ 6BLT combo w fries n a small drink which are no bueno. Over-priced and left me with an oily after-taste. Eww

Found this place by chance and what a find it was. Great service and the food is just delicious. Pricing is great too, for three hamburger meals including drinks it was only $ 11. And for dessert you can have one of their fresh donuts afterwards. You need to definitely come here when nearby and in the mood for some great hamburgers. I also need to mention that the fries are like the perfect crispiness and super fresh.

My favorite type of doughnut is the apple fritter, which I tried at Johnny’s. I was so disappointed. There were apple chunks mixed in, which was nice, but that’s about all I can say positive about this doughnut. It was so extremely greasy; I could literally taste the oil in it. Perhaps to mask the oily taste, it was overly glazed; the glaze was so thick that I could hardly taste the cinnamon apple taste I typically love in apple fritters. To make things worse, my coffee was burned. Now, I’ve always heard the phrase«burned coffee» and I’ve always wondered«how does one burn coffee? I mean, you put the grounds up top, drip hot water over them, and done.» Well, now I know what burned coffee tastes like but I still don’t understand how one burns it… I assume that the coffee sits on that«hot plate» too long?

You can tell this place is amazing because it’s so old but it’s still in operation. The shop is family owned and all the workers there are very friendly. I’ve been coming here since high school and they still keep their prices very low. I’d choose this place over Yum Yum’s down the street any day. Their burgers are great, their fish and chips are great, and their donuts are heavenly. I can easily eat half a dozen without feeling like i’ve developed diabetes, maybe gotten fatter, but that’s about. As long as I’m in the area, I’ll keep coming here.
