This is by far the best eyelash studio I have ever been to! From the moment I walked threw the door I felt so comfortable! I met Ally for the first time and moving forward she will be the only person who ever does my lashes. She is talented and extremely educated. Her love for doing lashes is remarkable. I have never met someone who took the time to tell me what will work for me! She is in the process of helping me repair my damaged lashes from another location. I have been to countless places and I finally found a place where they know what their doing. If you have ever considered getting your lashes done take my word for it and only go to Glitz!

If you’re looking for a professional, comfortable environment to get your brows or lashes done Glitz is definitely the place to go. I can’t express how much I love my new lashes! Ally made sure I got exactly what I wanted and she was such a pleasure to work with. It’s truly worth every dollar! Everyone at the salon is incredible and the lashes feel like my own! I highly recommend Glitz!

I went to this place, which it took me over an hour to get there from the Bronx, about 2 weeks ago. I had originally made an appointment for eyebrow extensions. Upon speaking with the receptionist she advised me that the eyebrow extensions do not last long and the eyebrow 4d would be better for me. This made me feel a lot more comfortable and confident about going there. Upon my arrival I was introduced to Brenda. I asked her several questions about the eyebrow 4d as well as the difference between eyebrow 4d and eyebrow tinting. She was unable to answer any questions for me besides the fact that she said eyebrow 4d stains the hairs more and for a longer period of time. Other than that she kept referring to the person sitting next to her to answer. I have gotten my eyebrows tinted before and with the research I had did on eyebrow 4d the two procedures seemed very different. However, I allowed her to continue. To make a long annoying story short, when I went to pay they charged me $ 45 and the receipt said shape and tint so I brought that to the receptionist attention that I was here for eyebrow 4d she said yes we gave you eyebrow 4d gel but you didn’t need anything else. No one explained to me that they changed what they were doing without informing me. If I didn’t read my receipt I would have never known. Also the «tint» or 4d was off my brow in less than 24hours.
They did return my money but I felt highly deceived. Very unprofessional for lying misleading me and not having their staff properly trained.
Not to mention Brenda botched one of my eyebrows. I had very little hair on my left brow (which I was attempting to grow) and now I have wayyyy less because of her tweezing inabilities.
The only reason why it’s two stars is because it originally looked nice and because my money was returned other than that, don’t waste your time, travel, or money

I got my lashes done here and I have to say this place is great! The staff is awesome and very very caring. They want you to be happy and will go out of their way to make sure you are! The place is very nice and I’m very happy with how my lashes came out!

Unprofessional, exorbitant and sub-​par results. I think that says it all but will add some context on each one of my comments.
Unprofessional — Glitz technicians prioritize a ringing phone over a captive client. My appointment was not only extended unnecessarily but also stressful due to the constant interruptions. In addition, as the owner was from a local competitor, you’d think she’d want to be upfront and greeting clients vs. hiding in the back showing little interest in her clientele.
Exorbitant — In comparison to other lash studios, their prices are not competitive.
Sub-​par — I have never visited a lash studio that does not consult with you on the look you’re trying to achieve. As someone who has visited many places (NYC and NJ) over the last several years, this is the first studio that seemed disinterested in what my preferences were (length, curl, fullness). In addition, it is fairly standard practice to discuss the tiers of services (number of lashes), Glitz dismisses that question with «we don’t go by that», which left me scratching my head about a proposed «upgrade». How can one make a decision on what price one needs to pay to achieve the look we want if there is no clarity around style or volume?
I will definitely not be returning and consider yourself forewarned before you book an appointment.

This is the best place you can go to for QUALITY lashes! A lot of competitors do not care about the health of your lashes; at Glitz, lash care is their number one priority.
I have been going to Master Lash Artist Ally for two years and started with her when she worked at a previous location. When Ally had left her previous location and was in the process of opening up her own shop, I continued to do my lashes with a different artist. They said they gave me their «best» person because they knew I was one of Ally’s clients. Sure my lashes looked good for a couple of days but then they would literally hurt my eye lids because they were so poorly done! There were clusters on my lashes with an insane amount of adhesive. My natural lashes ripped off and I desperately needed Ally to nurture my lashes back to a healthy state!
I could not get to Ally’s new shop fast enough! Thankfully, with her professionalism and invaluable lash skills she has gotten my lashes back to normal and they are beautiful!
I wish I could give this place more stars as I am so grateful to have a healthy, beautiful set of lashes that most importantly do not hurt me anymore! Thank you Ally for your service. xx

It’s hard finding a lash place that does consistent good work but Glitz Lash & Brow Studio superseded all my expectations! Ally is the best of the best! She explains everything and addresses ALL of your concerns. You can tell customer satisfaction is important there so it’s no wonder I felt so at ease and comfortable. Today I decided to get my eyebrows tinted for the first time. I was super nervous cause I am really fair skinned but they came out perfect! Glitz will always be my go-​to place for lashes and brows!

Very, very impressed with Glitz Lash & Brow Studio! As a first timer for lash extensions, I was a little nervous, as I didn’t know what to expect. My appointment was with Brianna, one of the the lash techs. She was wonderful — throughly explained the process to me, took the appropriate measures to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed in the chair, and properly assessed the type of lashes/​look I wanted. Her work was so dedicated and precise and I was honestly FLOORED with the results. I had gorgeous full and glamorous lashes that still looked incredibly natural. If you’re on the fence about lash extensions, I can honestly say they have changed my entire beauty routine for the better! I will definitely be telling all my girlfriends about Glitz, and will most certainly return for more eyelash services.

Glitz was amazing! It was my first time getting my eyelashes done but everyone there made me feel comfortable and I love my lashes. I’m hooked for life! Monica made me look and feel beautiful and everyone was very accommodating and professional. Thank you so much.

Not worth the money. I went in on a Friday night and 2 days later my eyelashes were coming off. The night I went in it took about 2 hours and Yes they do let you know it take 2 hours but in my case I had someone training on my eyelashes. She had ally look over her work every 15 min and she would explain to her where to put the lashes. There were no other customer but the works and to people training.

This was my first time getting extensions. I was a little nervous at first but I went for it and man was it worth it-​I absolutely love them. They look so natural too! For the past week all I’ve been hearing is «you have such beautiful eyelashes». Love the staff! The place was super clean and cozy. Will definitely be back ! Thanks !!!

Omg this place is amazing. Ally does my lashes and her work is incredible. Her attention to detail and techniques are awesome. Her work literally makes me never want to go back to my natural lashes. She is that great. Aside from her work she is truly a spark of life. She has great customer service skills and has a great personality. I always look forward to my appointments. I highly recommend this place!

So if you want someone who knows how to make your lashes look amazing and keep them healthy, this is the only place you should go!!! I have been loving this place and I get compliments on my lashes all the time. Highly recommended and the staff here is very highly trained and use the best products available. So glad they are not to far from me, otherwise I would still make the drive.

I’ve been getting my brows and lashes tinted by Allie for YEARS — and she is the ONLY person I will go to at this point. She gives my ridiculously bland brows structure — so they actually frame my face… and my lashes get a majorly needed boost so I can just wake up and go (no mascara needed!!). She’s always super on-​point in mixing my color — and there’s never a bunch of smudge under my eyes (like so many tint jobs leave… sometimes to the point you look like a clown for a couple of days after the service… this has happened to me at even super expensive places in NYC and Montclair). And beyond all this — Allie is the most down-​to-​earth and funny chick. Very personable and makes you feel comfortable. She’s just the best!

Beautiful new studio in Montclair. ALLY is great!!! I have been going to her for years and she never disappoints. My lashes had been damaged at a place I used to go to and over time she was able to help me correct it. Ally is very professional and goes above and beyond to accommodate customers. She honestly cares about all her clients and you can tell she loves her work by the amount of time and dedication that she invests into it. Out of all the women I’ve ever had do my lashes Ally remains the most knowledgeable and most talented by far. So, if you’re looking to get your lashes done in the area I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely the Best!!! I had started getting my lashes done about 5 years ago and had changed locations about 4 times due to poor quality or bad technique until I met my LASH MASTER «ALLY»!!! I had started going to Alley 2 yrs ago when she was working at Lure Lash in Montclair. When I first met Alley she was so AWESOME! I instantly fell in love with her. It seemed as though we had been friends for years.
The one thing that I absolutely noticed about Alley was that she was very honest and took the time to explain what services was best for me. She knew everything about lashes to the science. It was the very first time I met someone that was truly in LOVE with what they did. It has been now almost 2 years and I would not Go to anyone else at all. To be honest if I could have her all to myself I would, lol.
If your looking for a PHENOMENAL LASH Expert that you can trust and know that your going to be given the best products and quality I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALLEY.
