I’ve been shopping in Dem Two Hands for years, and always think how amazing it would be if there was a store that brought men this kind of range of fabrics, styles, patterns, textures, designs, lines, colors, and funk. The merchandise carried is always top drawer, unique and ready to make a statement. The staff is incredibly helpful, kind, informative, eager to help out, willing to render an opinion and go the extra mile as far as allowing customers to mix and match and experiment to come up with the best look. Prices are absolutely reasonable, and returns made within the terms of their very clear policy are never a hassle. My wife always looks forward to gifts from this little wonderland of a shop, friends love gifts from there, and I love an opportunity to go in and dig.

While this store has some nice clothing, toiletries, and accessories, some from far away places, the employees are far from friendly, and don’t even think about trying to return anything, even if you are a long time customer and have spent a lot of money there.

The staff are very attentive to your special needs. I consider it a great plus that the owner supports artisans from other nations a definite plus. Once you shop, you’ll continue to return. A Store Not To Be Missed!!!

so, the first time I walked into this store, I heard Debbie Harry in my head: «Step in-to a worrrlddd…»
I don’t know the rest of the words, but walking into this place was awesome, like entering a mesh of many far away countries, like India, China, Mexico, Guyana, Ghana, Indonesia, Peru, etc., etc., all melded in one pot. It’s a small, cozy store, but it is filled to the brim with everything from women’s clothing(mainly,) jewelry, shoes, incense, home décor(like figurines, hanging lanterns, altars, pillows, etc.) candles, journals to write in, chocolates, his & hers sensual stuff, greeting cards, all kinds of great things. Items you’re likely to not find elsewhere. I like to come in and and just walk around and look at everything. It’s almost like walking through a museum, or some type of art show. I’ve spent the good part of an hour walking through and perusing everything here, and I’m not even a woman!(No, I wasn’t trying on any outfits. I swear. I swear!) Anyway, the clothing is all women’s, more for that classy mom, grandma, or boss in your life, or even a bit younger, if she has a flair for an ethnic style. Speaking of mom and grandma, this is a great place to stop in if you want to buy her something special, and be different from the norm. I just bought my mom an elephant chime here for Valentine’s Day — she LOVES it! And if I manage to scoop a girlfriend in the near future, I’m sure I’ll be stopping in here for a little something from time to time for her as well.(There’s an awesome selection of jewelry that is quite unique, not to mention handbags and other girlfriend-type-giving items.) I also intend to stop in regularly for stuff to make my apartment look cool, and make me seem somewhat intriguing. =P No seriously, that’s my plan. And the ladies here are so nice and helpful. They’ll even wrap your item for free if it’s a gift, and you can choose the paper and ribbon, or they’ll help you figure that out too! Anyway, I signed up for their email, and I get regular invites for sales and special discounts. I guess you can set up an appointment with one of the ladies if you’re looking to find something particular/extra-special. I would recommend this place to any dude looking for something for any woman in his life — it will definitely be a standout gift — or to any ladies wanting to stand out in the crowd!
