This place is the real deal man! Don’t be fooled by how small it looks! This is Jamaica on Bloomfield avenue, nicely tucked up in disguise. Go eat here and tell us we’re wrong. We’ve been to lots of Jamaican/​Caribbean restaurants, this place, this place right here, reminds us of sweet sweet Jamaica!
We are so hyped up writing this review! Maybe is the jerk chicken. See when you eat real jerk chicken, you taste the sauce in the bones, and that’s exactly what happens here.
First time here, and were so impressed.
Called them up, placed our order, I medium jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage & 1 oxtail With the same sides. Food was ready in 10 minutes and cost $ 21.00. That’s a decent dinner at a reasonable price, after, a long days work! I’m glad we agree on this.

Yup, authentic, small place. I’ll come back for the ox tails… maybe a little ackee and saltfish on the weekend.

UPDATE! I read on April 24^th in the Montclair Patch that the CG had 12 health code violations. The food is good but I WILL NOT be eating there ever again.
