History
Established in 2011.
Mon Tiki was built on the East End by Captain David Ryan and crew in our boat shop in Bridgehampton, NY. Assembly and finishing work was done at Montauk Marine Basin, and Diamond Cove Marina. She now operates out of Star Island Yacht Club, offering public sails and sunset cruises daily.
Mon Tiki is a 40 foot James Wharram designed Tiki 38, inspired by traditional Polynesian double-canoe craft, and built using low impact construction methods. She is the first US Coast Guard Inspected Passenger Sailing Vessel built in the Hamptons and the only Inspected Sailing Vessel that calls Montauk its full time home.
