Description

Specialties

We boast the most breathtaking panoramic view of Montauk Harbor, but we’re much more than just a spot with a view. Executive Chef Matthew Nelson and Sushi Chef Wei Lin create new daily specials from our kitchen and sushi bar that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate.

Our outdoor bar at Topside has an extensive cocktail menu that specializes in frozen drinks. The newly renovated Inlet Café offers both indoor and outdoor seating, attentive service and spectacular views of Montauk Harbor. Inlet Café is family friendly making it ideal for a group celebration or an intimate dinner for two. Join us for an extraordinary dining experience you won’t soon forget.

History

Established in 1943.

Gosman’s Dock in Montauk, NY was founded in 1943 by Robert and Mary Gosman. At the time, the Gosmans were fish packers and «fishdrummers» (agents for Fulton Market). The Gosman family bought the properties in 1950 and additional land in 1958. The restaurant started out as a chowder stand, specializing in lobster rolls. The wholesale lobster and fish business and the quality of the seafood encouraged the family (five sons and a daughter) to develop Gosman’s Dock to what it is today. Today, Gosman’s offers shopping, retail and wholesale seafood and quintessential Montauk dining at its best.
