What does it take to Conquer Kids’ Cancer?
It takes a bold mission: The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most-promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
It takes funding life-saving research: St. Baldrick’s has committed more than $ 101 million in research grants since 2005 and the Foundation now funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
It takes a community of supporters: Every year, 175,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer worldwide and one in five won’t survive. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation community is made up of donors, researchers, families, kids and volunteers from around the world who believe that even one child lost is one too many.
It takes volunteers and donors: St. Baldrick’s signature head-shaving events are the world’s largest volunteer-driven fundraising opportunity benefitting childhood cancer research.
