History

Established in 1953.

Signal Alarm Company, Inc. is a family-​owned and operated security company that has proudly served its customers for 57 years in and around the greater Los Angeles area. Founded by Grandfather Bernard Wachter — whose name incidentally means «the watcher» — in 1953, and continued by his son Barry Wachter who now has his son Jordan Wachter working along side him in the field. Signal Alarm Company, Inc. remains today the last of the original «fair and union» alarm companies in Southern California.
