History
Established in 1962.
Don Jagoda Associates was launched in 1962 by an ambitious husband and wife team, Don and Syd, who sought to bring promotional creativity, service and professionalism to their clients. Little by little, staff and services were added and the company grew. Sales were generated from the New York City office by Don and sweepstakes entries, judging, prize fulfillment and winners lists were handled in a warehouse set up on Long Island by Syd. In 1979, they moved to one large facility on
Long Island, thus creating the famed one stop shopping philosophy. But the growth did not stop there. In the early 1990’s, DJA expanded to the online sector adding in-house programmers who develop microsites, which now include social media applications. Don Jagoda revels in the fact that Don Jagoda Associates, after 50 years of growth, has achieved its leadership position as one of the nation’s oldest and largest promotion administration agencies.
In addition to sweepstakes, Don has seen the company become one of the top developers and implementers of contests, instant winner games, sales and consumer loyalty and incentive programs, and online and offline interactive promotions.
Don is probably most famous for having given away millions upon millions of dollars in prizes. Over the years, Don has awarded houses, ponies, cars, around-the-world trips and more, through value-added promotions of all types.
