I had an experience with Chris a few years ago. He assisted with some warranty work regarding my Pentair pool. Although he seemed to monopolize our conversations around his BYPASS gastric surgery, I actually did find him to be knowledgeable about the PENTAIR pool equipments. Aside from his fixation over losing over 100 pounds, the service actually seemed to be good when we were able to get him focused off his weight. I have recently fallen off my warranty program with our PENTAIR equipment; therefore, I thought it would be a great idea to contact Chris for further service regarding the PENTAIR equipment. Wow! What a mistake! I would only use CHRIS or anyone from CB Electric if there was a big company like Pentair to hold them accountable. Now that I am not under warranty, my experience with CB Electric and Chris in particular was horrendous. First, I called and talked to Chris during the 1st week in January to schedule an appointment to check out my pool equipment. Chris was not willing or able to take an appointment without me calling his office. So, I called the CB Electric number that he provided. I set an appointment for January 25th. The CB Electric office called a few days prior to the appointment to reconfirm my appointment. On January 25th, no one showed up. By the afternoon on the 25th, I called the CB Electric office with no answer. I then called Chris in which I did get an answer. Chris told me that he did not have an appointment set and that his office must have made a mistake. I scheduled a new appointment with Chris for February 15th. This morning, once again I heard nothing from Chris or CB Electric. I started to call both numbers at 9:30. Chris finally responded back at 11am letting me know that he can get to my location within the next two hours. I explained to Chris that I had a meeting that I could not change that started at noon. I was told that someone would be there in the morning between 8 and 10am. Chris explained to me that he was running late. We finally agreed to meet up after 2:30pm when I returned from my meeting. The next thing that happens is unbelievable. I get a call from Chris at 11:25am letting me know that he can arrive at my house in the next 25 minutes and that because they usually have appointment time lines up to noon that that would be the only option I had. There was no concern that they have had me waiting around for them on the last appointment date. There was no concern for the meeting that I had set set 2 hours outside of the 8 to 10am time slot that I was given. There was also no concern for the level of unprofessionalism that I experienced in general. Chris ended our conversation basically letting me know that if I was not able to change my meeting, then they would not be able to assist with servicing my pool equipment. I have never experienced such UNPROFESSIONAL behavior when the problem was caused by the servicing company itself. Chris came out to fix an issue with my Pentair pool equipment. He was knowledgable, professional and quickly able to repair my electrical issue. I would recommend his serviceable to anyone having electrical issues with your pool or spa. CB Electrical covers from Malibu to Riverside.
