Office Depot

This Office Depot is a little warehouse-​like. Not in size, but in assistance levels. I realize that they depend on a strong commercial clientele, but you can wander in search of your item, then re-​wander in search of a human for assistance.
At the checkout, you may be the only patron there, but two employees may be having a personal discussion. Clearly they don’t mind if you listen, but pausing to take care of business is out of the question.
I go here, and will continue to go here — their selections are good and my personal office needs are relatively few… specialty paper, keyboards, mice, folders and the occasional calculator (yes, some of us still use pocket calculators, lol!)
As for the service: Expect less and hope to be surprised.

Friendly. Well-​stocked. Employees really cared about helping me find what I was looking for. A far cry from the Office Depot I used to avoid back in Maryland because no one spoke English and could help me find anything.
