History

Established in 2001.

Comfort Keepers of South Hills was opened by the husband and wife team of Tom and Mary Donohue in 2001. Both Tom and Mary have personal experience with in home care. They cared for Toms father who was suffering from dementia. Through this experience they realized that trustworthy in-​home care and respite care was hard to find. They made it their mission to bridge that gap.

Business Owner

Mary Jean (Mame) Donohue has been an RN for many years. She has an abundance of experience working with the elderly, both professionally and with family and elderly friends. She joined the Comfort Keepers staff on a full time basis in November of 2010. Currently, she is the manager of the East territory and is enjoying every minute of being in business with her husband, Tom, and visiting the elderly clients on a regular basis.
