I went to get my hair done by a student I knew there and was very impressed by the entire experience. She did an amazing job talking through what I wanted, showing me options for dying my hair (I had never had it salon dyed before), then asking her teacher’s opinion on the over all color and placement. She talked me through the process, explaining what she was doing (ex:why she was adding foil to some pieces and not others) My hair is amazing and really soft!
Yes-​you are going to a student here, and that may mean not a perfect haircut, but I went because I trust my friend and her teachers! The teachers were constantly walking around and checking on their students, fast to correct any mistakes they saw by asking constructive comments.
Also it took a long time, but again-​because she is a student and doesn’t have a speedy rhythm down. Also I got a full color wash and cut and style! Great price too!
I would go back for sure.

Madalyn W. does an awesome job on my hair with her amazing cut and her awesome hair coloring skills. I love that the instructors are always available for consultation. The Paul Mitchell products are wonderful. Since going to Bella Capelli for my hair care and using the Paul Mitchell products, my hair has been the most shiny and healthy that it has been in years. Good care and good products DO make a difference. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This place is the best! I went there yesterday for a color correction after having a serious at-​home bleaching incident. :-/​. Daeja (one of the students) was amazing! She fixed my uneven lightening and made my hair turn out great! Several instructors were checking in on her and helping every step of the way, and my hair looks great! Plus, a color correction that would have cost $ 300+ at a salon cost me under $ 100. Love these guys and I will be back!

I recently relocated to the area and have not found a new salon yet. I saw Bella capelli at the «Celebrate Monroeville» event and thought I would give them a try.
The student who worked with me was very attentive and personable. She asked on numerous occasions how things were (but not in such a matter as to be annoying). My hilights turned out great and I had them do a curling iron style to finish off the look. I spent about half of what I would have at another salon and was very pleased with the results.
The downside is the amount of time that it takes. Remember that they are students, so they have not built up the speed that a professional has.
I plan on going back again.

This school is awesome! All the students love what they’re doing!

They have an additional location in Robinson Township, PA. This is the only place I would ever get my hair done. It is inexpensive because you are being styled by students. No fear though! The instructors are helping out every step of the way. I have gotten my hair cut, dyed, and permed here. They are fabulous.
