Great deli! Food was amazing and the gentlemen behind the counter were very nice and helpful.

I believe the opening of their next door restaurant has affected their quality of deli food! I recently purchased their chicken salad which was always excellent, this time chunks of hard, dry chicken. Just very unappealing. Also same with chicken pot pie. It was very good in the past, more of a rotisserie chicken used. Now it was chucks of fatty, hard chicken, just honestly gross chicken! Very disappointed! Actually I would say it seems as if it sat around for a while! They should date all those type of products. They should stick with one recipe for everything they make or have the same person make it all the time!

Love this place. High quality food and service. We’ve been coming for years and come to buy sausage and cold cuts almost weekly.

Excellent find. We got the Italian Combo hero and Mr Monroe hero(chicken cutlet, broccoli rave, provolone, and sun dried peppers). Both were delicious, and huge. Definitely enough for 2 meals or to share. Also bought many deli items so we have more to taste in the next couple of days. Service was courteous and thoughtful.

Just wonderful. We have had so many items from this place, and all were wonderful. Salads, riceballs, bakery items, eggplant parm and on and on. They make the cannolis fresh for you, fill it when you order. They are not the thick pasty crème kind, they are fresh, light whipped, but thick. Doesn’t get better. I would get anything here with full confidence of great taste and freshness. There is no other place like this(quality) that I know of in OC.

The owner is the sweetest man. He’s so polite and friendly. I always get a broccoli raab, sun dried tomato, sun dried peppers, and fresh mozzarella sandwich. It’s my favorite thing to eat, period.

Authentic but take the ride to MacArthur Blvd. Right in the Bronx and you will get better food at the same price even takin gas and the toll into account. I go here don’t get me wrong but everyone I go I see these Italians all trying to come off Italian for some sort of street cred or something. Not bad. Three stars.

I love this place and find it superior to competitors in Chester and elsewhere. I can’t get out of there for under $ 50 as there’s some many tasty items, things I want to try and old favorites. Love how staff writes up order on the paper bag, brings me back to a simpler time.

Incredibly delicious deli/lunch food. Feels like you’re in Italy, endless sandwich possibilities. Tangy savory delight with each bite. Super friendly customer service.

What a gem of a place. I always pop in here whenever I am in the area and I am NEVER disappointed. The staff/workers are all friendly and easy to talk to that it is difficult to pop in and out. The freshness of all the cold cuts, breads and any other deli staples are great. They have such a large selection of quality Italian ingredients(from Italy) that you could possibly imagine and also maintain a very large gluten-free section as well. Italian pastries made fresh daily always satisfy my sweet tooth. Prices are perfect and you could not ask for anything better in my opinion. I wish they had one of these in the city because it would be a GOLDMINE. Buon appetito!

Good stuff. Excellent bread. Great authentic Italian desserts like my Mom makes. We’ve used them for catering on several occasions, we think they’re great. I have yet to find something that isn’t good from them.

Can’t beat this place. I have had everything here, grew up getting their food., I have never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity. The entire family and staff are super nice. My favorite stuff to order is their fresh chopped meat(no pink slime lol), their artichoke hearts, mozzarella balls, broccoli rabe, steaks, Neopolitans(eggplant appetizer), their ala vodka homemade sauce, their homemade raviolis stuffed with whatever you want and of course their soppressatta.

Pretty good Italian deli, especially for this neck of the woods. It was originally on Arthur Ave in the Bronx before they moved up here, so they know what they’re doing. Facilities are modern, good counterpeople, but prices just about match what you get in the city. I’ve had numerous things including the thick sausages, sausage pinwheel, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers, bread(delivered from Arthur Ave Bakery I believe), et al(they have a huge counter of prepared foods, etc.). Everything I’ve had was authentic and definitely solid, although I’ve yet to have something that has that great«wow» quality. However, since its my family’s go-to place for Italian goods, I’ll have plenty of opportunities to see if this place has anything great. But even if its just solid, having a place like this nearby is great in itself.
