History

Established in 2009.

Turning Point needed a creative way to supplement funding for the domestic abuse shelter. The first store opened in 2009 in Monroe, NC with the sister store in Waxhaw opening in 2011and the Home Décor store opening in Monroe in 2013. The upscale thrift stores resell donated items to the general public, provide any and all items needed by the clients of the shelter at absolutely no cost to them, and provides a familiar and friendly face for Turning Point in the community.
