Rick and Rick were doing some pressure washing at my neighbor’s house today. My wife went over and mentioned we needed the side of our house and complete front of our house pressure washed. There was some mildew on one side and greasy handprints on a few sides from where some siding pieces were replaced last summer. In addition, my wife asked for the front porch area and the front of the house be washed. Also, we specifically asked if the oil stains on the driveway could be cleaned up. Rick Sr. assured my wife that all could be done for $ 150. We later ended up paying $ 145 because he used our water hookup for our neighbor’s house. After Rick Sr. and Rick Jr. were finished my wife sent me the after pictures. Besides the mildew being removed I could not tell a difference on anything. The side and front of the house where the handprints were still remained stained. Furthermore, the house is now different shades from the few areas they pressure washed and the majority they did not. Also, when I ran my hand over parts of the front of the house they were covered in dust and dirt, as they did not clean a majority of the area. The driveway while a little whiter had the exact same shade and size oil stains. When I called to ask about their work Rick Sr. stated that he wiped a bleach rag on some of the vinyl siding and used a little bleach on the driveway. I asked why a degreaser of some type was not used. Rick Sr. became belligerent and yelled that he has being doing this type of work for 42 years and knows what he is doing. I asked if I purchased a degreaser could he come back and use the product to finish the job he promised my wife. Rick Sr. stated that he would not be doing anything else without more money. I then asked if we could have a refund so we could pay someone else to do the job he apparently did not want to do properly. Rick Sr. yelled that he would not be giving any refunds and hung up on me. My wife said Rick Sr. then sat in his truck, smoked a cigarette, threw the butt out in our street, and drove off. When I got home not only did I notice the horrible work that had occurred but there was mulch and dirt splattered all over our shrubbery, lawn, and lighting fixtures. Also, one of our lighting fixtures was knocked over. After taking pictures of the mess and poor workmanship I spent an hour cleaning up their mess. I then spoke with another professional that assured me he could clean our house and driveway properly with the correct products tomorrow and scheduled him to come over for $ 125.
