History
Established in 2011.
Maple Veterinary Mobile Services started out as a way to help friends and family in 2010. At the beginning of the year, Dr. Natasha Jacobs became a new aunt to a beautiful neice and two close friends had to undergo medical treatments that left them at home with limited mobility. A possible ear infection and vaccines being due became a major dilemia… how can they get care for the furry family members while juggling dr appointments and bed rest? A call to Dr. Jacobs to come for a visit and bring «some stuff» was placed. A few house calls later and reminiscing over the good times spent as a veterinary assistant doing house calls, the business emerged as an idea.

Natasha J.
Business Owner
Since she was a little girl, she knew she wanted to be a vet. In high school, she started volunteering at the local animal shelter and was given the opportunity to do a work-study program with a local vet. This experience confirmed that she wanted to become a vet. At college, she became a kennel technician at the local shelter and then a small animal veterinary clinic. There she was promoted quickly to veterinary assistant and became fascinated with diagnostics. Dr. Natasha Jacobs was accepted into the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2004. She received an award for excellence in small animal nutrition. She moved to the Charlotte region and began practicing that summer. Within a few years, she became a certified chief of staff for the largest privately owned veterinary hospital in the world.
