History

Established in 2008.

I opened I Spy Consignment because I had a baby, too much stuff and needed to get out more. In the beginning, I brought my daughter to work with me. I had always brought my dog to previous jobs I’d had painting theater scenery and murals. Turns out having a kid is much more work than having a dog– who knew? So, anyway, I kept the kid but she goes to school now (yay.) She has way nicer clothes than I do. I have some pretty fantastic people that have become my consigners, customers and friends. Not everybody likes me (as seen in one of the comments here– but what can you do?) I’ve never really been one of those people that everyone likes, but I’ve heard a bunch of times that Moms all over Fairfield county LOVE my store. And that’s what really matters here. My store rocks.

Meet the Manager

Wally K.

Manager

Wally is an Australian Labradoodle. His role at I Spy is to greet customers, like they do at Walmart. His responsibilities also include playing with kids, so their Moms can shop. Wally also works with his Dad sometimes at Sleep Etc. (Sleep​etc​.com.) So please call ahead if you are hoping to see Wally.
