A joke. The man at skate shop put a, 6 on my shoe-sized 9 daughter! When we asked about an 8 he laughed at us and said«it will swim on her!» Of course 6 was the largest size he had in stock. Bizarre — sleazy sales approach just dumb. Obviously skates too tight.

Big rink for indoor ice skating — came here a couple times with a friend for regular skating. When the ice is smooth, it is so fun to go around, and you are never in any danger of bumping into anyone, because it doesn’t get packed like the outdoor rink at Roosevelt Park or any touristy rink in NY. However, sometimes you get those hockey kids, and they purposely skate fast and weave in and out of wobbly people, so that can get a little nerve wracking. It’s also rude and inconsiderate but considering those guys are teens, it’s kind of forgivable, I suppose. Have a decent seating area upstairs that always looks clean, well maintained, with plenty of tables and chairs where they sell food. You can also look out and watch people skating. I’ve watched some figure skaters practicing and it’s a lot of fun! Nice people at the front desk, very helpful with questions. Big lot, plenty of parking.

The rink is quite professional. I’m a figure skating learner. The public skating on weekdays is not too crowded most of the time. If you are not happy with public skating, the low free-style is very affordable too.

Pretty cool place… Walked in 45 minutes before my son’s game and was greeted with a comfortable couch facing a flat Screen T. V pretty cool. The best part they have a coffee bar, not that poor excuse for Coffee they serve at other rinks but a real Expresso machine. I had a latte which really hit the spot and got me ready to freeze my butt off. I notice they also had broom ball at this rink which looked really fun. Well the game was tough with ourside losing 1 – 0, but my son had a glorious chance a point blank shot that deflected off the goalie pad and the goal post. Nice rink.
