TBS was established in 2003 and later expanded its services to fill a void in the marketplace for a company capable of providing one-​stop shopping or turn-​key solutions for all of your real estate, facilities management, remodeling and construction needs — commercial or residential.

Meet the Business Owner

Jay G.

Business Owner

Jay is a veteran of 15 years in the US Army. After returning home from his service, he and his father started a residential construction company. After a few years, Jay moved to Charlottesville where he worked for a well-​established, family-​owned general contractor whose clients included The University of Virginia, CBS Rentals and Red Light Management. It was here that Jay completed his Masters in Architecture at Virginia Tech and built some of Charlottesville’s most notable projects.

After several years of building multi-​million dollar projects, Jay went on to become the Deputy Director of Facilities Development for Albemarle County. Jay was later recruited to become the President of Piedmont Concrete Contractors, Inc. — the area’s most influential commercial concrete company. After serving with Piedmont for several years, Jay returned home to take what he had learned over the past decade to again partner with his father and combine their residential and commercial experience.
