QC Family Entertainment provides entertainment and dining options to families and all age groups. Our entertainment options include bowling, cosmic bowling, laser tag, video games and a sports bar & grill. Our game room offers 65 state-of-the-art video redemption games with a redemption center to redeem tons of awesome prizes. We have 32 bowling lanes, 24 in which are laid out in the conventional bowling style. We have 8 additional lanes in a boutique bowling style equipped with leather couches in a private area perfect for leagues, open bowl, cosmic bowling and corporate bowling. Frankie’s Sports Bar and Grill serves the Miroballi Family Chicago-style pizza. The restaurant is large enough to accomodate 120 people, features a full service bar and more than 10 high-definition big screen televisions to satisfy your sports cravings! Finally, we have a two story laser tag arena so you can battle it out with friends and family. We are available for private events and parties. We also offer bowling leagues including senior, adult, youth and mixed leagues.

History

Established in 2012.

Our owner grew up in the bowling industry. He previously owned another bowling center in the Illinois Quad Cities. He committed to the community that he would build something special. We realize that the area needed a «Family Entertainment» business that could appeal to all. After traveling around the country in search of the perfect combination he found what he wanted to bring to the Quad Cities. We have the traditional bowling, the large arcade and laser tag arena the makes it perfect for parties and family gatherings. We also added a great sports bar featuring Miroballi’s Pizza. Their own family recipe will fresh ingredients and real mozzarella cheese.

I was born and raised in the Quad Cities. I have a strong sense of community and am service minded. My wife and I were both born in the area as well as both of our daughters. Professionally I have had the pleasure to work for and learn from some very sharp people. I hope to bring the knowledge and passion to Quad City Family Entertainment Center. The owner and I have the same vision, we want to provide the Quad Cities with the best FAMILY experience possible. We value every guest that chooses to visit us.

The food at Frankie’s was amazing, food for adults and kids. The arcade and bowling made it a great stop for our family. Had the best Italian combo we have had in along time. We will be stopping next time we are going through the area.

Bar staff good. rest of staff bad. short staffed as well. don’t bother with the unlimited play cards. 15 bucks for am hour but you can’t play the good games. they don’t bother to tell you that. you get to stand in line for 15 mins on a wed afternoon for them to inform you. I will not go back under any circumstances. 1 star is generous

We had a great party, however 57 mins into our game out lane froze, staff came over, & walked away as our time expired. 4 of 5 of us didn’t finish our game in the 10^th frame. Very clean place. Will be back, but pay by the game not the HR to finish.

I read some of the older reviews but my experience was very good. We went to Frankie’s first and had pizza and salad. All were good and served in the normal amount of time. The waitress was kind and came around to check on us many times. We then went into the game room. I thought the ticket games, at $ 1 per swipe, seemed pricey but all were operational. We did not bowl or laser tag. The bowling alley (24 lanes) looks very nice and the prices seemed OK. There is a special place for birthday parties. Overall, a great place. I dropped 1 star for the price of the games. Three are some special one that are cheaper.

Terrible waitress service, no one waited on us, had to walk up to the bar to order a beer, drank our beer for over a half an hour with no eye contact, no hello, nothing from the 3 waitresses that walked by several times… if you want to keep your customers coming back, you need to fire every single waitress working on the night of 4/25, this was the worst experience we’ve ever had!

Update to my previous review: I met the GM, Rob, and he was genuinely conserned about my experience. I did not talk to him immediately so I could see if changes were made and noticed him making rounds talking with customers. He seemed very involved with ensuring a good customer experience. I opened a tab at the bar where they swiped my card and gave it back to me, a huge improvement over my card sitting in plain sight!
He had direct messaged me previously based on my feedback and said he would cover bowling or a drink, but did not do that. For these reasons, I think they deserve a raise from 2 to 3 stars. They are making improvements, but still room to go.

So I’m going against the grain here and disagreeing with many reviewers here. Nevertheless, I have to say that my kids, all of whom are prone to seek happiness over misery, left miserable. And as parents, so were we, and have vowed to never to return.
The games: on first glance, there were plenty of games available and we thought it would be great to buy five kids the one hour all you can play passes. However, the fine print on those are that you cannot play prize games, or ticket games for tickets. Problem is, most games are prize games and ticket games. Less than ¹⁄₃ of the games could be played with this card, more than half of which were out of order.
The sports bar: since it’s a part of this complex, it might as well said that this is one of the few times I have literally left a place before being served. We entered and sat ourselves as others had been doing. The place was less than ¹⁄₃ capacity at the time. The tables we sat at had the plates set for service and we waited for more than 10 min before we had to get a waitresses attention. Even then we seemed a distraction rather than a customer. Will not return.

Waited 90 minutes for our food. They gave us 15% off. But when we got the bill, the 15% wasn’t included. Now we are waiting for this to get sorted out. We just want to leave.

Our family went here to celebrate my 7 y/o grandson’s birthday. It was a little hard to find, since we pretty much stay on the IA side of the river. Our Garmin GPS didn’t list it but we had the address and found it that way. It’s in a building that used to hold a furniture store.
The facility looked almost brand new and everything was clean. They have 24 bowling lanes in an open area and several more off in another room (not sure why). The nice thing is they can raise gutter bumpers for children whenever needed. What was really cool was that the bumpers only came up when it was my grandson’s turn to bowl, then went back down. How slick is that?
The wait staff was very accommodating and pleasant. They waited on us right away and drinks came out quickly. We ordered 2 pizzas and they were very good. I’m kinda picky about food and I was impressed. I’d say the meat lover’s pizza we had was in my top 10 faves. Of course, like all pizzas, it started to taste «just okay» when it sat and cooled down. That’s to be expected.
We didn’t use any of the party rooms, so I can’t comment on them. The games they had were pretty good, from what I could see. No Dave & Buster’s, but good for the QCA. The kids played laser tag and had a blast.
I highly recommend QC Family Entertainment for birthday parties or just general fun for the family.

We paid $ 30 today for a family of four to bowl one game. I don’t consider that to be a very good value. Plus, someone had to fix our lane three times. The game room is pretty fun. I love the rechargeable card that keeps track of tickets too. The game room hasn’t changed much in the last year. I hope they keep things fresh. The bar food is surprisingly good.

This is a fun place to go. If you are from a bigger city, this is the Quad Cities comparison to a GameWorks or a Dave & Buster’s. Location has a decent sized arcade game floor that utilized rechargeable game cards so you don’t have to lug around coins and tickets (kiosks accept cash or credit)…has a sports bar with bar food, 2-level laser tag, and a huge bowling alley. This place is great for kids and adults of all ages! I would definitely recommend this place as a place to visit for something to do!

We’ve been here several times for bowling only and today decided to eat at the restaurant inside, Frankie’s, beforehand. Terrible service! I wish I hadn’t because now I don’t look at this fun place quite the same. It was a slow Saturday afternoon and we were a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 children. It took 20 minutes to take our drink orders and an entire hour to bring out our food. We were told 40 minutes after ordering that the hold up was a bunch of pizzas booked in the party room. When we got our food I was disappointed and confused that the food in the kids meals was more appealing and also in larger portions than our food from the adult menu. Our only compensation at our dissatisfaction was getting our drinks removed from the bill but all we ordered was 1 pop and the rest waters. Thanks for the $ 2.

I went here as part of a group with my in-laws, wife, sister-in-law and five-year-old nephew for lunch and a fun afternoon. It was a great time. They have a good selection of things to do: about a dozen bowling lanes, an indoor laser tag arena that was an absolute blast and a broad range of arcade games. Laser tag was the highlight of the day. Definitely give it a try.
The sports bar is pretty standard on food, keeping in mind it is meant to accommodate kids as well as grown-ups and very good service, at least when we were there for lunch, and looks beautiful. My only complaint about the bar is that I tend to be a light eater, and there could have been more fried shrimp in the basket meal, even for me. The price can also add up kind of quickly, moving from bowling to laser tag to the arcade.
