CSA Subscriptions with naturally grown produce and fruits. Produce is also available directly from the farm or at the Saturday Sunnyside Farmers Market in Happy Valley.

Farm tours and hay rides for individuals and groups (including school and youth oriented groups) are available by appointment.

Thanksgiving — December 22^nd the farm is open for U-​Cut Christmas trees daily from 10am — dark. Hayride, shaking, baling, refreshments, covered fireplace and kids crafts are included with your tree.

We have Noble, Grand and Doug Fir Christmas Trees, freshly made Wreaths and Garland available. We also off custom flocking for your Christmas Trees. Colored flock is also available. We flock trees from other farms but please call to set up a time.

History

Established in 1980.

Snowline Tree Farm is currently run by the second generation and working on training the third generation of the Greif family. The farm started out as a Christmas Tree Farm but is currently being diversified to include produce, meat and hopefully dairy products. Check back with us to see what else we have going on.

I was first introduced to Snowline Tree Farm when I married into the Greif family in 1991. My husband and I lived in Montana but moved back to the family farm in 1999 to allow my father-​in-​law to go to Alaska in order to be a Pastor in the small community of Edna Bay. In 2004 we lost my husband due to an accident. But my other parents have allowed me to continue to run the farm and have my children grow up where their Dad grew up in hopes that one day they will continue on in their Dad’s footsteps. I am currently working at changing the farm from a monocrop tree farm to a true diversified «Family Farm». It is my goal to have a functioning farm where people (especially kids) who would not otherwise have the chance be able to come up, put their hands in the dirt, interact with animals and learn how and where the food that they eat comes from.
