I have been there with my family a few times, but have not been out much since having a family tragedy. Went in there today to pick up some food to go, but to my surprise the Waitress named Terry, told me to pull my «pants» up because it was offending the customers. Let me be clear, I was wearing Oregon State University sweatpants and under those pajama pants. I then responded with I will get some food from somewhere else then, and she replied GOOD! I told here that I didn’t appreciate being told to pull up my pants when i had not even been greeted. So I asked the entire restaurant if anyone had a problem with my pants and the whole 5 people in the establishment said they did not! I will not attend such a rude and prejudicial café ever again and would recommend that if your looking for decent food with good service, your better off going to McDonalds. Cindy’s has now lost our entire families business for life… Customer service could really go along way, maybe when they hire some staff that treats customers better they might have better reviews and service… I don’t recommend this establishment to anyone!

Kind of weird and slow. The food was decent, and the service was friendly, but all said and done, it took nearly an hour start to finish to get seated, order our sandwiches, eat, and pay our bill. Not awesome if you are there on a lunch break. Worth trying if you are not in a rush. We probably won’t go back again, though.

Great mom and pop restaurant, though it is now located on center st. Just around the corner. We ordered burgers with fries. The fries were nice and crunchy, the burgers were good and came on a light large homemade bun. The Blt avocado sandwich was yummy and came with Lots of bacon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Thanks for a great meal and some of the best service I’ve had in a restaurant.

BLT! OMG! I visited my sis — in-law and she took me here. Very good food. While this was a couple years ago, my DH went on his last visit and really loved his BLT.

Update: Still five stars, and still our favorite place for breakfast or lunch in Molalla! My new favorite breakfast to have when I’m hungry is the #5 with country ham — it’s one of their monstrous and delicious buttermilk pancakes, a slice of lightly fried country ham, and two scrambled eggs. I just had it again this past Saturday for brunch after I had run 10+ miles, and it really hit the spot. Cindy has the best pancakes in Molalla! If I’m wanting lighter lunch fare, I opt for the #3 wrap with a cup of soup — the wrap has avocado, cream cheese, lettuce, cucumber, pepper jack cheese, red onion and tomato. I stumbled upon this one by mistake, thinking that I was ordering a wrap with chicken in it – but there is no meat in this wrap. I ate it anyway, and thought the flavors blended together so perfectly that it didn’t need any meat — the avocado, cream cheese, and pepper jack all provide a heartiness to this wrap that you wouldn’t expect; and a cup of soup is the perfect compliment. My 9-y.o. daughter wanted me to also mention her favorite dish from Cindy’s. Since they serve breakfast all day, she can get it until closing(3:00). She always orders the kids pancake(which is shaped like a mouse, or maybe it’s a bear), one piece of bacon, and one scrambled egg. She always gets hot chocolate, too. This is her favorite meal ANYWHERE! I still think some classic country & western music playing softly in the background would be nice, but that’s pretty minor. It’s still our #1 choice when going out to eat.

Yummy! Stopped here on our way to Rosse Posse Acres for the elk farm and petting zoo. Good menu to choose from, a huge array of sandwiches for the sandwich enthusiast! I had the grilled tuna and tomato bisque. Family farm feeling, lots of farm pics and knickknacks along the walls. Definitely want to explore this cute little town more.

Cindy’s has an amazing menu with daily specials. The Asian chicken salad is a favorite of mine. The staff is the friendliest in town and always keep your drink refreshed. Bright & cheery even on a rainy day! This is where I take friends & family who visit.

We are on vacation, visiting family in Molalla. We have been struggling to find someplaces good to eat. Cindys is that place. Excellent food, friendly service. I would recommend the quiche and the B, L, T, A sandwich. Both were excellent. Can’t wait to go back!

A combination of great food, great service and great company makes Cindy’s Café a wonderful, family friendly eatery in downtown Molalla. I love taking my family there to eat breakfast or lunch. My kids really enjoy the John Deere décor and their visit with Cindy & her crew. Jesse Arthur — Molalla, Or

If you are in Molalla you must try this place! Molalla is a cute small town with a country feel and Cindy’s embodies that all the way. The décor of the place is fun and warm like you came over to your grandma’s farm house for breakfast. The staff makes you feel that way too. The locals hang out here a lot and all the staff seems to know their regulars. They care about making you feel just as at home. They allow any and all modifications that they can: if they have it you can do it. This makes it easy if you have diet restrictions like vegan or vegetarian. I went there with my family, most of them are meat eaters and they got the bacon which looked really good and fresh. I was told it was yummy. My mom got the cinnamon roll french toast: yeah– home made cinnamon rolls cut in half and cooked french toast style! Delish. I got a blueberry pancake and I kid you not, it was the size of a medium pizza! It came with home made marionberry syrup that was out of this world! They make biscuits from scratch that are fluffy and rich. I highly recommend this place! They also have lunch items. They had a ton of salads and great looking sandwiches. They also cater.
