Abe started his career in the auto industry in the late 80’s, building solid and trustworthy relationships with numerous prominent Chicagoland body shops. In 2008, Abe opened the doors to Abe’s Custom Car Care (formerly known as Abe’s Custom Design).

A Certified 3M Installer, family man, and perfectionist, Abe has developed excellent relationships with his customers and dealerships. Not only does he deliver top-​notch results, he makes every visit convenient and comfortable for the customer.

I called for an appointment to get my car detailed. I initially spoke with Abe who told me all the awesome things they’d do to my car with the «Premium Package.» I figured he was over-​selling me, but every business owner does that, right? My expectations were through the roof when I brought it in this morning. I met with Chris and Abe when I dropped it off. We went over the car and I pointed out some things that were bothering me (a blemish on the trim and yellow road paint that splashed up on the car). They told me they’d take care of it. I came back a few hours later and Abe definitely didn’t oversell himself! He talked a big game, but he followed through! The paint splashes were gone, the trim blemish was gone, it smelled nice inside, and everything was as clean as a whistle! Abe is a man who talks the talk and actually walks the walk. I really didn’t think he could make my 5 year old car look like new, but it looks like it just rolled out of the showroom! I’m really impressed! As for how I found Abe, a buddy of mine had all sorts of problems with mail-​ordered WeatherTech floor mats, so he ended up going to Abe’s since he’s an authorized dealer. Not only was it hassle-​free, I think he got a better price than the mail-​order place. He told me about Abe’s and I figured I’d check it out. In fact, that same friend picked me up while Abe detailed my car. Abe came out, remembered my friend from over a year ago, asked if he was still happy with the mats, and seemed genuinely interested in a previous customer. I’m sold on Abe’s! They’re super nice, do a great job, and seem to genuinely care about their customers!

I recently came in for a full exterior detail and had some door edge trim installed for my black car. The door edge trim was installed nicely but the exterior detail was sub par. I specifically asked to have swirls marks removed and some light scratches. When I came to pick up my car, the swirl marks were worse than before. If your looking for a high end detail I would not recommend them.

Will never use this detail shop again very poor job paid for full detail including engine detail when I went to pick my car up the first time I showed them all the imperfections that were skipped and refused the car they called 4 days later said it was done and I would be happy but when I picked up my car it was raining so I paid took it home in garage and seen they didn’t do engine at all the rims were still dirty and interior looked like they just wiped it down plus most of the imperfections I showed them the first time were still there so unhappy and a waste of money! But I found a great detailer called on spot detail they come to you and do full detail and did a great job I will keep using them but will never use Abe’s again

I made a 9am appointment for the deluxe exterior detail. I mentioned that I would be attending a car show the next day. Got the vehicle in at 8:45 and I was asked was I going to wait, to which I replied, «No, just call me when the job is completed.» At 2:45 I get a call and was informed that more time was needed due having only one person working. When I inquired how much time, I was informed that they wanted to keep my vehicle until the following day at noon. The car show started at 10am, so I told them to have it ready buy 9am the next day. When I arrived the following day the car was ready and parked out front. It looked good, except for what I thought was an excessive amount of tire dressing. I brought this to their attention before paying, and was told that this is the good stuff and wouldn’t come off while driving. In a hurry I really did’nt inspect the work like I should have, which is my fault. Upon arrival at the show I exited the car and noticed specks of tire dressing on the front and rear panels and on the side view mirrors. Having spray cleaner in the trunk I opened it and discovered wax residue on the side and rear edges, some of it left lines of residue on the convertible top. Later I discovered more wax residue on the front edge of the hood, and water spots on the wheel lips which I assumed came from not air blowing the excess water from the lug nut pockets. I did take the time to call the shop to voice my complaints. An apology was given, and I was asked was their something they could do for me. For $ 175.00 I felt I should have been told what they WERE going to do for me, all I got was sorry that happened. One would think that at the very least I would have been offered a free service in the future or better yet a partial refund. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend or return to Abe’s.

This was my first time here, and alls I have to say is they did a excellent job! Had my 2015 ram in there they did the front 2 windows and they turned out perfect! Very professional with no mess left behind, the customer service was top notch, I would highly recommend this place! Great job guys!

2015 Golf clear bra installation. This crew did a fantastic job. I asked for a last minute favor, a clear bug defector be custom cut for the hood. Not only were these guys able to do it, they knocked it out of the park. I would highly suggest stopping here if you are considering a clear bra. Great work!

I bought a full detail interior and exterior off of Amazon local based on the good reviews. Maybe I should have taken into account how long its been since there were any reviews since this place has obviously gone down hill. I brought my 1 ½ year old car in for the services I purchased. I drive alone no kids so the interior was in good shape other than last winters toll. When I picked it up the weather was not good, it was raining I have yet to see the exterior job. First off when I got in my car before I even left I noticed debris in between the drivers seat and console, it was obvious it was never vacuumed. I went back inside and showed the man at the desk and he apologized and brought it back in the shop. On my way home I looked up at the headliner and visors they had some spots, that was supposed to be included in the detail. I called and they said bring it back some day and they would spot clean it. My carpets were left so wet from the shampoo it took 2 ½ days to dry and the paper mats they put down were shredded and embedded into the carpet by the time I drove home. I had to use a brush to get it out after they dried. The next day I rolled down my window only to notice that the sticky film at the top of the window whens its shut was still there, all of the windows were the same, the back window was never even done at all, the white film was still on the window that was there when I dropped it off. Also there was fingerprints on my center drawer and when I put my floor mats back in, I noticed the gas and brake pedal had dirt still on them. The people that work there are very nice but I paid for a full detail, not a glorified car wash and that’s what I got. Shouldn’t have to go home and clean your car after a detail job and that’s what I did.

Bought a Living Social deal, so I took my 12 year old minivan there for an interior detail. I didn’t have high expectations as it hasn’t been cleaned in some time and was not looking good. When I picked it up, I was shocked that it was my car. They did an awesome job. They cleaned every nook and cranny. My only regret was not taking a before picture. Everyone is very nice and professional. Will highly recommend to family & friends.

These guys are the best! They’ve hooked up many cars for me and I have always been satisfied. I usually deal with Chris, though I have dealt with Abe as well. I can personally tell anyone in the market that their tint, clear bras, alarms and Chevy bowtie blackouts are second to none. I am a huge fan of their work!

I went to Abe’s recently to have the windows on a new Lexus tinted. The shop is very nicely done with a great waiting area. When I wen in I was greeted and want through all the options available, pros and cons, etc. Got to see some cars they were working on in the back as well — very clean and well done shop. Prices were right in line with other quotes I received locally. They squeezed me in the next day and the result is outstanding — highly recommended. I’ll be using them again for some other work in the near future. And to top it off, they vacuumed the inside of the car and wiped everything down. Great services and very friendly, easy to deal with.

I tried another local tint shop but felt like I was dealing with amateurs. Ended up stopping at Abe’s and was greeted with professional service, quality products, and awesome results. My tinting job was done right, on time, and at a fair price. Definitely recommended.
