As part of the nationally ranked CMU College of Engineering, the Silicon Valley Campus offers several distinctive part-​time, full-​time, and bicoastal master’s degree programs in information technology, innovation, software engineering and software management, as well as a bicoastal Ph.D. program in electrical and computer engineering.

History

Established in 2002.

The Silicon Valley campus was established at Moffett Field in Mountain View, California, to expand the reach of its outstanding professional programs and to perform innovative research that connects it to local, national, and global high-​tech companies.
