The New Earl Scheib Paint & Body

Upon visiting this establishment, both the owners as well as the help Orlando where very friendly and seemed like great guys, owners wife is an absolute doll! 10÷9÷15 I was quoted 1,200 dollars to sand and paint the interior and exterior of my trailer. They let me know that It would take approximately 1 week; 2 weeks at the VERY most. I signed the contract and put $ 1,000 cash down. I called that Thursday evening to see if I could come pick up the trailer, they let me know its taking a bit longer and that it will be done on the longer side of the quoted 2 weeks which was not a problem. at the end of the 2 weeks I didn’t receive any call or update, so I again called back and they let me know it would be done the following Wednesday but that the inside was completely sanded. Wednesday arrives, and still No call to update me, so again I call back, and I got the voicemail which states that «this Month at the New Earl Shcheib receive $ 200 of ANY paint job.» After calling back multiple times that day and finally getting the owner, I inquired about the discount at which time, he very rudely told me that he would give me the $ 200’s off, but that then I would owe him $ 1,000 more on top of it because it is 70+ more hours of labor than he thought. (how is that my problem when he quoted $ 1200?) And was rude even after I let him know I would bring in donuts or something for the staff upon the trailers completion for all the hard work. I finally did receive texts from Omar, who was very warm and friendly throughout the entire ordeal. After the next extension of the time scale, I did receive a call stating my trailer would be done 11÷13÷15. Upon asking what the holdup was, the wife let me know that her husband takes a lot of pride in his work, and really wants to make sure that it looks good. the interior and exterior was completely sanded and just awaiting paint. And also that since it had rained a few days that week it didnt get worked on since they dont want to work in the rain, and they didnt have the equipment available to bring it inside. (SO does that mean, my SANDED STEEL TRAILER WAS LEFT OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN, PLUS OUTSIDE WITH NO LOCK ON THE HITCH!?? FOR HOW LONG!?). After pressing I was able to get it 11÷12÷15. When I tried to pay my remaining balance of $ 200, their credit card machine was broken, so I had to drive to an ATM to get cash. At first glance the outside of the trailer looked great. Although upon inspection the tongue had just been sprayed over the chipping paint underneath. So the new paint falls off with just a touch. There is paint on all the tires and a HUGE foot print where somebody stepped in it while the paint was wet. I had to ask them where my spare tire was. They readily got it, and put it back on. I drove off unknowingly Without the license plate as well. The owner apologized and let me know he will bring it a put it on at my ranch today… The inside of the trailer is ½ painted. On the half thats painted there is a thin spray that looks terrible, you can see the red paint underneath, and large chips that can be removed with a fingernail. There are dime sized spots that where missed entirely as well as a long strip on the back door that is perfectly red. The entire front inside of the trailer where the mangers are received NO PAINT AT ALL. I inquired why it wasnt done and the owner said he was «painting a Ram Dually last night the same color too and we ran out of paint.» So I asked WHEN I could bring it back to have it done, and he let me know that it would need to be Re– Sanded (didnt look to be sanded at all), and then re– painted, WHICH I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR!!! This place has TERRIBLE customer service, all of which I would over look if the paint job was good. But its awful! I am one EXTREMELY Dissatisfied customer! Save yourself a headache, and take your business elsewhere. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Just had my jeep painted, they did a great job it looks fantastic, no orange peel, no runs, no overspray, turned out better than I thought it would ! Plus the guys were extremely kind, courteous, and friendly. I would definitely do business with these guys again !! Thanks Orlando and Omar.

Scam artist and my 4 year old paints better. He is a crook and I am taking him to court
