The Fit Factory

The Fit Factory is the largest, most well-​equipped strength training facility in the area. If you go to a commercial gym you’ll often have to wait around for equipment and wipe it down because it’s dirty. Not so at the Fit Factory — they have state-​of-​the art equipment that’s always clean (a plus during cold and ‘flu season). The trainers are EXCELLENT and push you to do your best while maintaining proper form. Other gyms in the area throw you into strength training with little instruction, and this can lead to injury and set you back on your goals. The Fit Factory is gym heaven right here in Modesto.

Love everything about this place. I came in 4 month ago with major depression, overweight, no strength and very little self esteem and confidence. These 4 month journey transformed me, made me stronger, changed my eating habits and received tremendous support from everyone there. If you are looking for great, honest, not sugar coating trainers who care about you and want you to succeed, this is the place. They treat you like a part of the family. Austen the owner is unprofessional, moody, and treats his clients and employees disrespectfully. If your planning on training at this location don’t expect anything positive out of him. He’s the type of person to talk nice to you to your face then talk bad about you behind your back. Why would anyone want to surround themselves around someone who is a untrustworthy individual. All Austen cares about is making money. He doesn’t care about what’s in the best interest of his clients or employees. If you plan on training here, and you can’t lift heavy weights you will be put down and treated badly. Training at fit factory where it’s overpriced and your not going to benefit from what your really paying for. Why train at a place where it’s run by a man who only cares about himself and money. Do not trust in this person who runs this establishment. He only cares about money and could care less about the people he trains or the people who work for him. He’s a greedy selfish moody man and has no integrity. Do yourself a favor and don’t throw away your money and train somewhere else.

Just doing an update review on where I’ve been doing kickboxing training for a couple of months now. I have to say in a short amount of time I’ve trimmed some fat and gained some muscle. They have some great trainers. Phannary and Art make sure you get a good workout in everytime. Every session is slightly different and offers a different challenge every time. I highly recommend checking them out as well as the other classes as well. I also get great tips from Austen & Shem about doing different exercises as well as strecthes that I can do at home! Don’t waste your time at other facilities that may don’t care…

The Fit Factory is the largest, most well equipped personal training studio in Northern California. They are close to 10,000 square feet and have top of the line commercial training equipment. This is the only place where every single one of the personal trainers is not only in great shape, but they compete in bodybuilding, figure, fitness, and physique competitions. The shelves on the walls are cluttered with trophies and photos. These personal trainers KNOW how to get people lean and add muscle.

Shem Swerkes is my trainer at The Fit Factory. I have been training with him for a few months now, and have never trained with someone that is so dedicated to MY fitness goals. He is constantly making adjustments to my nutrition and my training. I have lost inches and everyone around me can see significant changes week to week. I LOVE IT! The support I get has exceeded my expectations. I will continue to work hard as I know I am going to pushed beyond what I thought my limits were. Thank you Shem and Fit Factory!
