The customer service here is just really awesome. Many car shops are always seem to be looking to rip people off and this shop seems to be really trustworthy and honest which makes me feel comfortable doing business. I definitely recommend this place and will return!

Best Service Ever! Johnny and Dustin along with the rest of the crew were very helpful with my air conditioner service and oil change. Its nice to have a place to take your car where you can trust what they tell you.

Absolutely amazing experience. Honestly the best experience with a car repair shop in my life. They were friendly, honest, incredibly helpful, and very fast. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I highly, highly suggest it. I seriously got the Unilocal app just to applaud them. I am shocked at the negative reviews. They sound more personal than based on the performance of the amazingly helpful staff.

I am pleased with this company. There service is consistent. Their prices are fair and the speed of their work is great. I have come to them for all my smog check needs for several years now for several of my vehicles.

Johnny, Melanie and all the mechanics were not only very helpful but were honest and offered fair pricing for the work. My father was a mechanic and as his health declined he had to take his car to a mechanic and I knew he was happy with their work then. I decided to give them a try and my father was correct. Good honest work means repeat customers. I would definitely recommend them. :)

Went in for a smog and they were fast, inexpensive, and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.

If I could I would give this place no stars! They’re such a rip off. They give out these so called 29.99 off coupons and still charge 32.00 in addition to applying their coupon for 29.99 and still not pass. However, not passing isn’t their fault but they still charge OUTRAGEOUS prices with no certificate! So, I just paid them 62.00 to not pass smog! They will charge me 10.00 to bring it back to pass it when I get the monitors set… no thank you! I will take all my business to Car Pretty who charges 38.20 out the door! This place over charges to diagnose a vehicle as well, when diagnosis at MOST other places I’ve called is FREE… when I asked why they’d do it for free when this place charges, they told me they don’t believe in charging the customer for a service necessary for them to do in the first place to fix the car. So, my recommendation is to STAY AWAY from this rip off business! They overcharge for everything, so I will be taking my cars anywhere but here!

I took my car here to get diagnosed for smog repairs. I had a CAP form and the only cost to me was the diagnosis and smog check. The lady at the front was very nice and helpful. They had to replace my O2 sensor and catalytic converter. My car was ready the same day I dropped it off, with a passed smog report.

So beyond DISAPPOINTED with this place! We got a referral by two family members to go here cause they had their RVs smogged here, so we called they said sure being it in. We dropped it off last MONDAY and we called tues to ask how much longer, the manager wasn’t there so we were told to call wed. We called wed and he had attitude and told my husband «I don’t do RVs normally I’m just doing you a favor» (ummmm that’s a lie since 2 family members went to him with RVs far bigger than ours) so he said it wasn’t done yet! We didn’t end up getting the call til FRIDAY! Ok I can understand if you get busy but surely not so busy it took a week! So we go to pick it up and I drop my husband off to drive it home. When I get home my husband said someone POOPED IN THE RV TOILET!!! WHO THE HECK DOES THAT!!! RUDE, disgusting ppl! We tried calling but they were closed. They manager did tell my husband at first conversation that they lock it up in the shop every night. I KNOW FOR A FACT one of them did it! I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN NOR WILL ANY OF MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS and trust that I have TONS of family!

I really like this place. The lady behind the counter is super friendly and you don’t need an appointment. I have been coming here for several years and have always gotten good service.

im so surprised to see these other negative reviews! I rarely Unilocal but I had such a good experience with these folks that I wanted to share!
I was on a time crunch today to get a smog between 4pm and 530pm, long story short if I didn’t get it done today then I was going to not be able to make it in for the rest of the week due to work and I was going to be late getting my vehicle tags and hit with a late fee.
anyways, I was meaning to go to another place I saw on Unilocal with a high review on mchenry and bangs, but I missed my turn so I had to backtrack, flipping a u turn into motor city court. I intended to turn around BUT I saw this business and said «hey! im here, lets do this!»
the young lady at the front desk was very polite, helpful and frankly a hoot. I told her I hated to ask because it was obviously my fault for being in a rush but I asked her approximately how long it would be til they were done (it was about 445 at this point). she said since there was only 1 other car they could get me out of there as soon as 515 or so. good enough for me! so I sat down, watched the news a little bit, just waited. not 10 minutes goes by and she sticks her head out the door from the office into the shop and says «hey, how long for xyz’s car? she has to go to work!» … LOL … I hadn’t even asked and she knew I was in a hurry!
they finished my smog in no more than 20 mins, including paperwork, and I was out the door. everyone I had contact there was friendly, efficient, and QUICK! they are a little out of my way but I will be going to them for all my smog needs in the future. I took a brochure with me when I left and it looks like they do oil changes and basic tune up/​brake services etc too. next time I need those kinds of services ill be sure to go to them and report back. only held back one star because hey, it could have just been a lucky break to have been in/​out in so short a time. always room for improvement right?

Well I called around to find out who can smog my 1990 Mercedes. that was a O2 model and they told me they could do it. but when i got there they could not figure out witch way was up on the car. So i asked why did you tell me yes on the phone and i got the dear in the head lights look. why say yes if you don;t know? if they would have open the hood and saw the code sticker they would have had the info they needed. but they did not know anything except look on the Computer make a few phone calls and said no. I have been a ASE master tech for over 30 years and was able to figure out where to look. smog is not one of my top things but i do have commin sense and popped the hood to look at the code sticker. all i can say is they have a very clean shop and good coffee (That explanes why the shop had only one car in it). other than that, there skills as techs and being abel to repair cars. even smog cars take a little conmin sense. So at that point just sent me packing with nothing more then a good luck. wonderful service (YA RIGHT). If you need a good smog place with smart people go to Joe’s smog in tracy. he was smart and found all the info on the car and smoged it for me. he just needs good coffee. lol but in All, smogs unlimited need to change there name to smogs limited to what we may or may NOT! know. oh and we have good coffee.
