P Wexford’s is a traditional Irish Pub, with traditional Irish/​American fare and a neighborhood friendly atmosphere. We do beer right with 24 beers on tap. We have a full bar and weekly drink specials. Chef Jon is always coming up with new specials for your dining pleasure.

They have clueless bartenders… Management is not doing their job
My husband and i asked for a beer flight but the bartender was. Aww i’m sorry what? Lol
We like to try new beers and that’s why we prefer beer flight, but we ended up ordering a glass each. We finish our glass and our bartender was flirting with some guys first, then she was texting, and finally a light bulb, she remember about us… We decided to leave, if we want to stay sober and upset after a few drinks then we will be back for sure, but since we love to have fun and enjoy great service we wont come back.

I really love coming to this place for a bite to eat and a tasty beer but when I stopped by today it was just alright.
I was seated outside with family and it was during a USA soccer game (this local is an American Outlaws spot during soccer games) and had a decent meal.
The food and beer were great but the atmosphere left something to be desired. During the soccer game one of the fans inside allowed their two children to hand out unsupervised in the outdoor eating area and it completely ruined the experience.
They were loud, obnoxious, and ran around the small eating area with their iPad for the entire game. I understand the desire to go out and have a great time while also bringing your children but these two managed to ruin the entire experience for not only our group but others who left the area as well.
Please do not allow small children to spend time unsupervised in the dining area, this is a pub after all…

I showed up for the Morgan Territory pint night. Sat down at the bar, got Id’d and asked what beer I wanted. Glad I knew about the event, because it was not offered. I sat with my beer for 2 hours, never got a menu, never asked if I wanted anything to drink and when my glass was cleared, no one asked if I wanted another. It’s sad I shouldn’t have to chase someone down for food at a restaurant. My friend, he got a menu, food and another drink. Not me. It wasn’t super busy, there was six of use at the bar. I guess I wasn’t that important.

Very nice place. Good service, good food. I had the Bangers and Mash, lovely. Great rainy day food. The bangers were mild, and complimented excellent mashed potatoes and gravy. I substituted the «veggies» for a salad. My wife loved the fish and chips. Harp beer battered, good amount of chips. Malt vinegar at the table. She also discovered Ace Pineapple Hard Cider. Yum. I give four stars as that’s only as high as I go. Every place can improve a bit.

Wonderful Fish and Chips! Best around Modesto! Only downfall, they don’t serve Beefeaters Gin. Tried the bread pudding bites and they were outstanding. Would definitely go again.

The food was amazing for bar food. The services was great. They had a live band planing earlier in the evening and later in the night which is cool. The atmosphere is just a ton of fun.
The pork belly sliders and the Bacon cheese fries are
I will def be back for that. The BF had fish and chips which Were also amazing.
Just moved to the area and I think I have found my regular spot.

Good Irish pub food and great atmosphere. Food prices are a little pricey. I mainly enjoy going here for the beers that they have to offer. My only complaint is I have had bad experiences with the servers. Other than that I recommend that you check it out! :)

Ok really is this the neighbor’s good bar. A resturanr or what.
Décor is great! Waitstaff is typical. Some nice some cute. Drinks are good food is ok.
Never never order meatloaf. The should be ashamed of themselves for that. crowd is a clique not into newbies. It is the best place to be in patties day but …

Nothing better that I have found in Modesto for a great lunch, when I am looking for value and a great meal I go to P. Wexfords, where else in Modesto can you get Welsh Rabbit (which i found out has no rabbit, its not even a meat dish). My favorite is the Wex Burger always satisfying and delicious, cooked to order with melty Aged cheddar. Fish and Chips another favorite. All the drunk realtors get a little loud at lunch time, but I only mention this because Im jealous and have to go back to work. Great assortment of beer on tap, great Irish themed Pub And restaurant. Never Have I had a bad experience at P. Wexfords Irish Pub

Came in to grab a beer and the waitress is clueless. Asked what kind of beer the Stone was and she said «I don’t know but it’s high alcohol so we serve 12 ounces»
I ordered my second choice and then waited for her to come back and tell me they were out.
Ordered water two times and watched her walk by my table with a water pitcher a couple of times — I never got my water.
Tried to pay but can’t get her to take my money, I’m actually still sitting here waiting right now.,

Great spot to come with some friends, have some drinks and eat. Very small and cozy! I like the live music they have sometimes. I never had a bad dish here until last time, I ordered a sampler and the cheese sticks and onion rings were disgusting. Tasted like they had been fried in very old oil. Other than that, everything else I’ve had is good. Love the garlic fries! Also like that they have the Not Your Fathers hard root beer. Service is always great.

We came for an early dinner. Definitely a place to come for a later dinner. We ordered calamari, fish & chips, & the Carolina pulled pork sandwich. The calamari came out mixed with yellow peppers together with the calamari. It was interesting but the taste wasn’t bad. The sauce it came with was runny and not sure what it was. The fish from the fish & chips needed seasoning but the batter was good. The pulled pork sandwich was good but the amount of fries compared to the sandwich was ridiculous. Will we come back… I think so because there is other food we’d love to try.

I love that dogs are allowed on the patio, too. It’s a great place to go for drinks, food, and friends.
