Modesto Transfer is the Central Valley’s newest agent of Atlas Van Lines! For more than seventy years Modesto Transfer has provided the residents of Central California with top of the line moving and storage services.

Founded as Jensen Transfer and Storage the team grew along with Stanislaus County. In 1999 Gary and Susan Smith purchased Modesto Transfer and have since continued the tradition of running a family-​owned business.

Recent retirees, my wife and I chose Modesto Transfer and Storage to move us from Nothern to Southern California. We were apprehensive about the potential fate for our things during the process, including collected heirlooms and other items which were fragile and in some cases valuable and /​or irreplaceable. To the contrary, everything arrived in perfect condition and were placed into our new home safely, courteously, and professionally.
