History

Established in 1946.

Micheletti & Associates has been providing insurance and professional service for both businesses and individuals since 1946. Founder, Mel Micheletti, became a principal for Clark Insurance in the San Jose in 1963. Clark Insurance became Micheletti Insurance Agency, soon thereafter. Over the years, three of his sons; David, Robert, and John, have joined the business. Micheletti & Associates now has offices in both San Jose and Modesto, CA. The tradition of family roots continues with the addition of third generation employees.

Micheletti & Associates is great! Joey was able to help me sign up for auto, rental, and jewelry insurance all via email as I wasn’t able to come in to the office. Even after asked him to change a million different things from the first quote he gave, he was still very patient with me. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

As most, I dread having to deal with insurance companies because that usually means something of mine got messed up. So when my truck got smashed I was none to happy! I got my auto insurance here and spoke with employee Joey about the damage to my truck. A few hours later, I received a call from the rental car company saying whenever I was ready to fix my truck my rental was ready. That call was followed by a claims agent who made my appointment that day to get an estimate and my truck into the shop! Everything went great and very smooth for the repairs! Thanks!

If I could give them negative stars I would. They completely screwed up our industrial building insurance. Even the named insured and the insurance company were wrong, plus they charged us for building insurance on vacant land! I told the owner I wanted him to take over our account and fix it. He told me that a lot of people want to work with him and he couldn’t do that. We finally had to change brokers. My account is still messed three months later due to Micheletti.
