As an agent for Wheaton World Wide Van Lines, we can move your household most anywhere in the world. We also move military members and their families all over the world. History

Established in 1949.

McGrath Moving and Storage was founded by J.R. and Dorothy McGrath in 1949 as Modesto Delivery Service. Soon to become McGrath Mov. and Stg. In 1992, Terry McGrath, took over the ownership and day to day operations from J.R. Also, the same year we became an agent for Wheaton World Wide Van Lines, for all of our nationwide and worldwide moves. In 2008, Terry’s son Mike McGrath, took over the ownership and day to day operations. We are approved carrier to service personel of the military and State of Califoria. McGrath Mov. & Stg. is an active member of the Calif. Moving and Storage Association. We serve Stanislaus County and surrounding areas for local moves or we can move you to almost anywhere in the world. We have competitive prices, and most people are surprised at how fast and efficient our crews are. McGrath Moving can also do the packing and unpacking of boxes for all moves. I grew up in the business spending summers with my grandfather on truck trips through out the country. I took my first solo truck trip to Texas when I was 21 and spent the next few years driving all over the country. After my father Terry semi retired I became the owner. I am a avid bowler and enjoy boating and fishing.
