Just stopped by here the other day after doing a little calling around, he was nice enough to to do a free diagnostic and actually show me what was wrong ! I couldn’t be more happy with my experience there. Ralph was very helpful and gave me some free quotes and I was on my way. I will defiantly be coming here to get any serious word done to any of my vehicles, also if you want to get a used car inspected this is the place to go !!!

Ralph has been the only person I’ve ever trusted with my vehicles (unless they are under factory warranty). He built me a show car back in the 80’s and we won all local shows, state and national titles along with being in every issue of VW Trends and Hot VW Magazine for 18 months. From my Escalade to my AMG Mercedes he is the go to shop with the know how to do it right. Plus you’ll never do business with nicer people along with the fairest shop that has always stood behind their work. Highly recommend Kansas Ave Auto Center!!!

I took my vehicle to get a second opinion on a previous estimate. I am glad I did. Ralph’s quote was about 3 hours less than the original one. They were very knowledgeable about the service and informed me of other issues I will need to take care of in the future. I will definitely recommend Kansas Auto to others and be back.

A business that knows their stuff. And more than likely won’t damage your vehicle for you to come back repeatedly with a new issue each time to make money, I’ll give them that. However, if you think you have an idea of what’s going wrong with your car, go somewhere else for diagnoses. Here you will find yourself paying the $ 109 diag fee only to be told the shop won’t give out the information you need if you decided to save some labor fees and fix it yourself. Also they charge additional fees to test drive the vehicle after they’ve repaired it. I’m pretty certain most other shops include that, but I could be wrong there.
Seriously beware of leaving your car there to be worked on and requesting to be picked up from home, work etc. My personal experience was waiting outside in the heat for over an hour when the drive is about 10 min away. This was after waiting the time frame I estimated it would take for whomever to leave the shop and arrive to pick me up. I called back to hear that he was on his way in my car, but picking up a part for someone else’s car. I waited an additional 20+min for him to arrive.
Needless to say, I’m not going back anytime soon, and really unhappy with my experience this go around. I should have not even paid for the diagnoses in the end, but for whatever reason I have a hard time doing things like that.
