Not the newest, prettiest ballpark around — the one in Stockton is really nice in comparison — but the Nuts have a great atmosphere, more reasonable prices on concessions, and some great baseball. Wish they had some shady spots however — this place gets hot, after all!

Clean, well maintained. Spacious and close parking for games. A great place to see a baseball game on a summer night.

I attended my first baseball game at «John Thurman Field» on 8÷7÷2012. The visiting Rancho Cucamonga Quakes defeated the hometown Modesto Nuts by a score of 11 to 9. «John Thurman Field» is a pretty ballpark situated next to a golf course. They have all the amenities that you would want at a baseball game. A nice place to spend an evening in Modesto.

I came here with a friend for Thirsty Thursday and I have to admit, you definitely get your bang for your buck. In getting your full value of your $ 10 which includes admission inside the park, 2 beers & free Wingstop, you have to get there between 6&7. Overall it’s a beautiful field and they have all the amenities of a day at the park. I plan on taking my son here very soon to watch a game and have some father&son bonding at the game…

An intimate setting for minor league baseball. Plenty of concessions featuring lobster roll sandwiches, BBQ ribs, mojitos and also your usual ballpark fare. Sit up close to the action for their most expensive ticket price, $ 10. Take the kids out and let them play on the playground in right field when they get antsy or test their arm with the speed pitch. John Thurman Field provides alot for everybody.
