Located in Modesto, we’re proud to serve the state of California. Included in our pricing is 60 miles round trip of travel, beyond that, travel charges may apply.

We use only the highest quality theatrical face make up and powders designed for the skin. They are hypoallergenic, water-​based, and are 100% compliance with the non-​toxic standards of the FDA. The non-​metallic glitter used is also specially designed for the skin. All of our makeup products are safe and sanitary, are formulated to be friendly to the most delicate skin and are fragrance-​free.

FaceTheDesign face and body art is a sole proprietorship and has been in business since 2009, services North Central California, and travels directly to the client. The highest quality cosmetic-​grade FDA-​compliant products are used.

FaceTheDesign offers not only face painting, but temporary glitter tattoos, henna, belly painting, and body painting, all of which are the hottest body art forms in the world today.

Lynn is a resident of Modesto, CA and born and raised in Humboldt County. She took art classes in high school. Having earned her AA degree in business from College of the Redwoods in Eureka, she then completed coursework in fine arts and graphic design at College of San Mateo and Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She started a face and body art business in 2009 and is a face painter for the Royal Caribbean International.

Lynn was fabulous! She did a henna for my best friend for her birthday. We had an odd request for baby footprints the size of my friend’s babies when they were born. We sent her a picture of each footprint. She was able to scale them to size and get a stencil. In the end they looked wonderful!!! I highly recommend Lynn for any henna tattoos you may want.

Lynn worked with me for a special community fundraiser for girls and was very professional the entire process! She even met with me to go over special details for the event and was ever sweet to all the girls! We had about 200 participants and Lynn worked very hard to get everyone painted. Her designs were perfect for the event and very creative and imaginative! Thank you so very much Lynn for helping make our event such a success! I highly recommend Face The Design for any event however big or small! She is awesome!

Face the Design was the face painter for a local charity event last weekend. And while I personally didn’t get my face painted ;), My daughter most certainly did. She ran around all night we her face done up like a cat. I was impressed by the details she was able to get in. And I noticed the same thing on a bunch of kids. Hard to have anything bad to say when all the kids seemed so happy :)

Lynn at Face the Design is AMAZING!!! I hired Lynn to do face painting at my daughters 10th birthday party, it was an old styled carnival/​fair themed party and having a face painter was a must! Lynn was the perfect touch! I called Lynn and she answered my questions, put me at ease and was totally professional. The day of the party, Lynn quickly set up and the kids all got in line. All the kids were so excited that each of them were going to get their face painted with a design of their choice and they weren’t small designs either. Some of the kids had their whole face painted. I had about 25 kids and 20 adults at the party, Lynn was able to fit in all of the kids and a few of the adults in about 90 mins for her reasonably priced fee. I received many praises from the kids and parents during and even two weeks after the party. You know it’s really good party when the parents want to get their face painted too!

I hired Lynn for face painting in March, 2013 for my daughter’s 9th birthday party. The party was «Alice in Wonderland» themed and I requested that only options in this theme would be offered. Lynn arrived early and organized with two menus offering all sorts of Alice in Wonderland options. Lynn’s sweet personality and beautiful work really was a highlight of the party and I will most definitely hire Lynn again for a future event. I recommend Lynn if you’re looking for a dependable professional!

Lynn is AWESOME she has done many sessions for my family and our friend’s. She has always been on time and always goes the extra mile to make sure kids get what they want. My kids love her work and so do there little friends. I would totally recommend her to any body throwing a birthday party of big social event.

Lynn was part of our daughters birthday party in June and was amazing with all of the kids. Very wide variety of art and colors to choose from. She worked very fast and was able to even paint the adults. I would definitely consider using her again for future parties and events. Also great pricing, and you get a lot for your dollar.
