Upon arrival you go into a gym which I thought was pretty cool because I didn’t know it was there and I was directed down the hall to where Tina was. She was nice and this was my first time, so I was a little nervous but I was there and committed. Let me tell you I was so embarrassed because of my f bombs and yells lol. She gave me a break when I needed it and did a good job. Tina made an uncomfortable situation as comfortable as you can make it. I will be returning soon for my next appointment and I hope it goes better for me haha. Thanks Tina!

I found Tina on Unilocal so it is fitting that I return to review my experience. I was looking for the best value in the area and thankfully landed at Bare Necessities. Other locations charge $ 70+ for Brazilians but this place charges much less for a highly professional service. Great ambience and the process is quick and extremely clean. Tina calmly explains what she needs to do for the best results and my result was perfect.

I wish there was a 10 star option! I was referred to Tina by my client and will never go to anyone else. I’m not shy going for a wax and if I was, Tina’s calm, professional, and engaging personality would have naturally set a comfortable mood. She is STERILE and answered all my questions. The location is great and her wax room is decorated so inviting and cute! My wax was the best I’ve ever had and her choice of wax definitely decreased my sensitivity by at least 80%! So thankful to have found her and how knowledgable she is in her profession :)

Tina is just amazing! It had been a while since I had gotten a wax so I had those first time jitters again. She made me feel completely at ease. She talked to me the whole time which definitely helps you keep your mind off the situation. The process was quick and the least painful comparing go prior experiences at other salons.

I went to Tina 4 times to get Brazilians this last summer. She is super cool, chatty and friendly, she makes you feel very comfortable. She is also very fast, the whole process is always under half an hour. But I did notice, at least for me, that a lot of my hairs were just broken at the surface, not pulled out by the root. So I had a lot of regrowth very fast, in fact I found I still had to shave 2 days later. There was not really a lot of benefit to waxing for me because it was growing back so quickly.
I went to another salon who used hard wax on me and took more time, smaller sections I think, and I had a much better result.
So I won’t be going back, just because I think I need a salon that has hard wax available.

Tina was excellent! She made me feel as comfortable as possible & did a great job. Normally, the onset of laughter is not a good sign while one is spread eagle, but Tina has a decent sense of humor. It’s unfortunate that I moved away because I would definitely be going back to her regularly. I even had some special requests & she was flexible.

Tina is amazing! I had my first appointment with her about a month and a half ago, and after having gone to a couple of different places to have my legs waxed, I was beyond happy with Tina’s thoroughness and professionalism. Plus she is so quick! I promptly made another appointment! She is wonderful and I highly recommend her!

I found Tina on Groupon over a year ago I needed a wax before I got married and went on my honeymoon. It was a good deal so I went and wasn’t expecting much. Since then I’ve been going to her for over a year now. She is fantastic, Tina is a super nice genuine person, in regards to her line of work knows what she is doing and makes it as quick, efficient and comfortable as possible. She is professional and makes you feel very comfortable. I have a very busy schedule and she is great at working with me. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I came to Tina for a brazillian and my experience was the best I’ve had. She is incredibly personable and keeps you laughing the entire time. I’ve been waxed several times before and was very surprised by the difference in Tina’s technique. She made an uncomfortable event easy and pain free for me. Would recommend her to anyone interested in a clean and professional wax!

Earlier today I got my first ever wax from Tina! I went with the Brazilian, and I love the results so far! She makes you feel comfortable and is easy to talk to. Real quick as well, I was in and out in half an hour. It hurt in some areas more than others but a pain that is tolerable. I recommend her 100% and are telling my friends about her. Already have my next appointment scheduled!

I was looking for someone local who could do a Brazalian and my fellow Unilocalers had given Tina rave reviews, so I had to check her out. I went in yesterday and I must say that although I’m a thick gal, Tina was able to finish up in a jiffy. After years of shaving, I thought I’d be in MAJOR pain, but she was so quick, clean (no double-​dipping) and efficient (no left over hairs) that I ended up booking another appointment 4 weeks out and purchasing additional sessions. Thank you Tina for making the awkward experience so pleasant. And thank you Unilocalers for directing me to a fantastic waxer!!!

Had my first Brazilian wax today with Tina; I always felt embarrassed and scared of the pain. Seen she had great reviews on Unilocal so with Hawaii coming up I figured I’d give it a try.
She is awesome! She had me laughing during the whole process and she makes you forget what is actually happening. Of course it still hurt but not as bad as I thought it would be. She’s honest so she’ll tell you where it’ll hurt and where it won’t. I had thought I would be throbbing in pain after but I actually don’t feel that way. I definitely recommend Tina! I will become a regular.

This was my first time getting waxed and she made me feel so comfortable! I pretty much had it all done: my legs, under arms and a Brazilian! Ahhhh! She was friendly, professional, easy to talk to, and gave great advice.
For those first timers, like I was, some prep advice: don’t shave for about 2 weeks, exfoliate before coming in, wear loose clothing, or no underwear at all for a Brazilian, hydrate well before coming in, and you can take ibuprofen 30 min before coming to help with prevent pain. Yes it’s painful, but it’s totally doable.
