Springhill Toyota specializes in the sale of new Toyota vehicles as well as certified pre-​owned Toyota vehicles and used cars. In addition, we arrange financing as well as sell many insurance products to go with the vehicle purchase. We also are a Toyota certied repair facility with Toyota trained technicians. In addition, we have the largest parts department on the gulf coast.

History

Established in 1972.

Springhill Toyota became a Toyota Dealer in March 1972. We been locally owned and operated for 38 of those 40 years by the same family. In 1992, Springhill Toyota was awarded the Lexus franchise in Mobile. Lexus of Mobile opened in September 1993. In 2007, we expanded our Lexus operation with a new facility, followed by a redesign and upgrade of our Toyota facility. We have won the President’s award from Toyota 13 times and the Elite of Lexus award 10 times.

I’ve taken my Tacoma there twice for an oil service. Both times I declined the tire rotation because I do it myself and both times they have «accidentally» charged me for it and had to refund the charges. I did a little research and everyone there gets paid on commission even for maintenance work.
I brought both receipts showing refunds for «accidental» charges to the attention of the dealership manager and he did not seem to care. He had very rehearsed responses to all my challenges and just pushed me out. I got the impression that the behavior is normal and they try it on a lot of customers.
I will never go to Springhill Toyota again

Had to have that safety recall fixed as quickly as possible for my Camry Hybrid. They scheduled me in on the very same day and told me that I might get my car back in 4 hours (at the latest). I sat down at a table to wait, unpacked my paperwork and my laptop. Within one hour they were finished and I was good to go.

The final straw. I take my 2007 Yaris in for the 7th time, for «engine noise». Of course I get the usual «cannot duplicate» result. I drive over to Firestone and they inform me, that there is an «alert» out on the Yaris for engine noise. So I search the internet and sure enough there are many complaint of engine noise for the Yaris. So…
I go back to Springhill Toyota Service Department and tell them about the alert on the Yaris. Their answer. «Well, we don’t service very many Yaris». You’re kidding right? So after being a customer since 1995 my daughter just purchased her new car NOT from Springhill Toyota and I am getting to the point of trading my Yaris — but I WILL NOT be going to Springhill Toyota. Hyundai is looking pretty good, They are the new Toyota in safety ratings.

Steer clear. Sales manager was cocky, rude, pushy, and not truthful. Why was he even in our negotiation anyways? I know, I know… this is not a new description of people you buy a car from. Apparently they don’t need to sell any vehicles because they sure lost me. Salesman seemed nice enough but when a sales manager makes a comment like «you should be looking at a cheaper vehicle» then it’s time to walk out. And walk out I did. I was told they were offering me the best deal around, of course I found the same vehicle 2k cheaper on-​line elsewhere. It’s like the sales manager was trying to win by making me pay more. Why cant you just meet my price (which was fair) and make me a happy customer. And they complain about low sales. I wonder why?
