Two sweet, cute older ladies run the tour. Judy gives the tour for upstairs; Laura gives the tour downstairs. Very informative. Hands on; you are allowed the touch most of the things here. You definitely have to come for a busy. «Y’all come back now, ya here?»

Thank you to Laura & Judy, the two adorable women who are members of the Daughters of the American Revolution(hence the DAR in the name of the establishment) who gave us our tour! Both of them were so sweet, kind & informative(and Judy had a great sense of humor too!) The Richards home was really an interesting look at life in Mobile 150 years ago. As a visitor to Mobile from New York City, this is exactly the kind of attraction you want to be able to support, and at $ 10, it was well worth it!

A beautiful house and a wonderful staff. Very knowledgable. The tea and cookies at the end of tour are a great touch. Loved it.

I was here around Christmas and I really enjoyed this museum. The two ladies who were there on the day that I went were the epitome of Southern Hospitality. The house is gorgeous and at the end of the tour you get tea and cookies :-). When you step in the house it’s like stepping back in time and everything is well preserved. This is a tour that you must do over and over again so I will be back when I am in Mobile.
