I love supporting small business, especially family businesses. When I visited this restaurant on a quiet Wednesday evening I was served by a very polite young man in his teens while his father prepared my order and his younger brother stirring about. A family business indeed! The gyros on a pita was very tasty and quite hearty. It came with fries that were good but unspectacular. Along with a drink, that came to just under $ 10. Perhaps a touch steep but not a showstopper. I also tried the samosa which were filled with a delicious ground beef preparation. A little different for me since I’ve usually only had potato or vegetable samosas. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is probably one of my favorite Mediterranean joints in Mobile. They’re quick, inexpensive and everything I’ve tried have been delicious.

We’ve gotten take out from here many times and it’s always been super fresh and delicious. From what I can tell, it’s cooked to order. There’s a small dining room inside if you care to eat there. We really like the chicken and beef kabobs with the rice. The prices are very good as well. Go ahead and give them a try, I believe that you’ll like it.

Good service, good quality, clean establishment, friendly staff and quick service are words that best describes House of Kabob & Gyros in Mobile, AL. They have the best falafel plate in town and is cooked to excellence. I wish more people knew about this place as it deserves a lot more attention due to the high quality of the food that is made and served there. Keep up the good work!

Good gyros and pita, but the hummus was kinda bland. The dining space is a little cramped, and the prices are a bit too high, in my opinion, because you can get the same items(but better) at Jerusalem Café or 7 Spice for the same price, or sometimes less, and those restaurants have a better atmosphere. I’d go there again in a pinch, but if I have the time, I’d much rather go a bit farther down Airport to get to one of their competitors.

Really good. They’re quick, cheap and delicious. Appreciate the late hours too! Too late to start dinner? Come here! Best gyros around, especially for the price

Fresh Greek food. Used to eat at Constantine’s this is just as good but with less formal of an atmosphere. Highly suggested

Favorite gyro place I’ve been to. I get the same thing(gyro plate w/extra bread) every time I go here. I love going here. Everything I’ve tried from others plates has been good too. Good food, fast, and cheap.
