Drury Inn

I’ll get the negatives out of the way first. The Wi-​fi was spotty. I tried to skype and it kept disconnecting. The free dinner was underwhelming. I went three out of the four nights that was there, and they had the same penne pasta in red sauce every night, two of those nights with meatballs, and there was never any bread. They have hot dogs and nachos every night, and only had chili available the first night.
That’s about it. Everything else was great. The hotdogs that I mentioned? They were actually good, with toasted buns. The salads were really good. You get three free drinks with dinner. They only have basic liquors, one draft beer (Bud Light), and several different kinds of wine. I’m not too picky so this was sufficient.
Breakfast was pretty awesome. Eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, potatoes, Belgian waffles, doughnuts, cereal, oatmeal, and probably other stuff. For drinks they have pretty much everything. Coffee, milk, orange juice, apple juice.
They have gated parking and very comfortable beds. The shower was perfect. Huge, easily movable shower head. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted on the wall.
Management and staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay again.

I have always loved this Drury Inn. I often travel on I-​10 and it is my favorite place to stop for the night. The staff is the friendliest bunch you’ll ever meet, the free hot breakfast is an excellent southern cuisine (Mmmm, biscuits and gravy), and they allow dogs, even large ones. I also like the area to the walk dogs, as there is a nice sidewalk that goes around it and the next hotel. The walk is level and allows my dogs to stretch their legs, mine, too! One more thing, the beds are very comfortable. I’ve come here for years and watched it improve over every visit. The owners really care for the place and their customers. Wonderful stay!

The bathtub had a leaky faucet. The tub bottom had a black imprint where a safety mat used to be. The a/​c unit was extremely loud whenever it would go on.
The plus were the very friendly staff, the room was very clean, and their Happy Hour has real food with 2 free drinks.

We have stayed in many affordable dog friendly hotels and this is by far the best yet. The hotel is a bit dated (that’s expected for the price) but the room was clean, smelled nice and the towels and sheets were crisp and tidy. The staff was friendly and welcomed us and our pets. We have two large dogs and only paid a small, flat rate pet fee. There is plenty of grass outside to walk the dogs. We were pleasantly surprised by the 5o’clock social hour– free food and three free drinks per person. Of course it’s not fine dining but we enjoyed nachos, hotdogs and beer while watching the football game, all at no cost. The breakfast buffet the next day was nice as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a conference and was very impressed. The main décor is modern, the rooms were spacious and also had often décor. The location is about 10 minutes from downtown and close to many amenities such as restaurants and shopping. What puts this hotel above others of similar stars and price is all the additions — huge breakfast, soda fountain, afternoon happy hour and afternoon snacks which can easily suffice as a meal, if desired. Additionally the rooms have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in a conveniently located dispenser in the bathroom — genius. The pool was heated and the workout room, although small, had everything anyone would need. I would have given this 5 stars except for the rude front desk a attendant. There was an issue with the price for one of the rooms, from the block that were booked and she proved to be less than helpful, although, it was resolved.

Stayed one night was not what I expected from Drury. Room was dirty, only Mac and Cheese on the kick back, soda machine broke no soda. Breakfast no fruit, yogurt or oatmeal and no OJ. They say the extras don’t cost extra but is in the price of the room. Ended up eating elsewhere both meals so it did cost me extra. When I complained about was told there is a nursing convention and golf tournament so they whipped us out. Someone knew the guest count and should of adjusted for this. I would not recommend this one.

Stayed for one night and was very dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the room especially for the price. There was an old dirty rag with a hair hanging on the shower curtain rod as well as a hair hanging off our «clean» hand towels. Furthermore, there was a nasty urine smell in the restroom accompanied by urine on the toilet. Also, for the price and quality of the room I did not expect to see the soap, shampoo, and conditioner in refillable dispensers. It seems cheap and unsanitary. My husband told the staff about the room and we did not have to pay which was nice but still ruined our weekend.

Stayed here for one night. It was my first stay in a Drury Inn that was not a Drury Inn & Suites. The rooms are not quite as fancy but are still comparable. As with all Drury Hotels the service was top notch. The 5 o’clock kickback and breakfast was just as good as at an Inn & Suites location as well. And their free wifi is a plus as well. I would stay here again if ever in the Mobile area. My only complaints would be the equipment in the exercise room was sub par. Their wifi is slow so do not plan on doing big business while using it.

Incredible staff, as to be expected! They go above and beyond. Dont forget about the 530 kickback! Three free cocktails and and endless buffet of artery-​clogging comfort food.
