Today the hubby and I participated in the second annual Wounded Warriors 10 K. Dallas Athletes Racing did an excellent job. The race was well organized, there were plenty of water and Powerade Stations, and terrific after race atmosphere. Sure appreciated that the 10K and Half marathon finishers both received medals. The pancakes, «My fit foods» samples, fresh fruit, muscle milk and ice cold Powerade were well appreciated. It was inspiring to see so many military personnel out there. A shout out to Officer Rich(never got his last name) who ran the half with his uniform and full back pack. The Wounded Warrior Half and 10 K benefited the Semper Fi fund and Reserve Aid. This was a fun, albeit hot race! Looking forward to next year~
