Vela’s Burgers & Ribs

We stopped here on our way home after church Sunday. Very cozy and very friendly. Very clean. Quick service. Very reasonable prices. I had the pico de gallo and it was most excellent. Fries were firm and cooked to perfection. Margaret had the regular burger and it was also prepared just like we like them.

Very nice, burgers are BIG ! Fries are firm not greasy .a The place is a tad small. That is even an asset. I think we would prefer to call it cozy. We left with a smile and quite full, very, nice.

Slurp! Was casually driving by and saw the sign. Very nice hole in the wall place, very nicely decorated and the burgers are outstanding! Had the mushroom burger and it was packed in flavor. On the way out the waitress recommended the brisket burger, so this is on my repeat visit list. Yummers!

Wanted to try something new. Found this place on Unilocal.Had the homestyle burger. It was very very good. The burger was big (½ pound) and very great price. It had a lot of flavor. Steak fries were great as well. It didn’t seem like they give many fries but by the time I was finishing the burger I was full so I felt the amount of fries was just right. The place itself is a nice little restaurant in a plaza. I would definitely make the trip back out here as I live nowhere close to those area.

Homemade burgers and cut fries. I tried the fried pickles (excellent). Finger rib and baby back ribs served weekends. Baby back combo $ 7.49 Finger rib combo $ 6.49 with drink included. Home style burger combo $ 5.99. Bacon cheddar, pico de gallo burger, mesquite chicken sandwich, and the double meat double cheese rodeo burger. Friendly staff, family owned. Come by and you won’t regret it.

Huge burgers that are good in flavor, I couldn’t finish mine because it was so big, but it was delicious. I got the home style burger and added bacon.

Good burger. Real good. And big. Fries are ok.
