History

Established in 2007.

Following the passing of our parents, we realized that we had not done enough to preserve their stories for the benefit of our children. It is so easy, and yet we all act as if we have all the time in the world. We don’t.

So we created Your Story Here LLC Video Biography, with the mission of celebrating loved ones and saving lives — one video at a time.

And the business has grown every year since its establishment, confirming our initial confidence that we were not the only ones who wanted to immortalize their progenitors.

Our aim now is to lead the personal and family history industry with innovation, and excellence in service and production.

Business Owner

Jane and her husband run Your Story Here LLC, a boutique documentary production company specializing in creating bespoke video biography and personal history documentaries.

Jane’s passion is to bring personal stories to life, insisting on the highest standards in all phases of the production process. She has studied oral history and voice acting and is a master video biographer. Based in Orange County CA, and traveling across the US for her clients. Jane’s projects have delighted hundreds of satisfied clients and their friends and families. Her touching award-​winning documentary films have been featured in film festivals in the United States and Canada, and have won numerous awards.

Jane and her husband are also experts in all aspects of editing and photo restoration and are proficient in all major post production software including Final Cut Pro 7 (Apple Certified Pro.)
