Needed a simple oil change. Called the day before around 4:00 on a Saturday. Since it was late in the afternoon, wanted to see if they could squeeze me in. I DO NOT want to drop my truck off for an oil change, I said! Guy that answered the phone said he couldn’t fit me in, but if I come first thing the next morning at opening, he would get me right in so I DON’T have to leave my truck there. Go there at opening and then he tells me that I need to leave my truck there. Why? You told me to come first thing and you would get me right in. Well, I have a couple cars in front of you. There was no one there but me! I have lived in this town for 35 years. I will be sure to spread the word. I can only assume why they wanted me to leave my truck. But, from other reviews for the business, it is pretty obvious.

I don’t like people trying to sneak services I did not ask for and making me pay for them.
I got a quote online for 4 tires+install. When I went to the store it was almost ~$ 80 more. I asked what’s going on there? Suddenly the price comes down to a level closer to what I remember (my dumbass should’ve taken the quote with me).
Anyway, at that point I say let’s do this, give my keys, sit down and wait for my ride. I realize I don’t have a print out/​quote. So I ask for one on my way out. I get home and look at the quote and it still seems high. I see some hazard/​balancing service is tacked on with no prior disclosure given to me. When I went to pick my car I asked to have it removed. On top of all that my car is handling shitty so I checked my tires and they overinflated the tires significantly. This is how a place guarantees a customer won’t return or recommend the shop to anyone.

The store manager and Noah are the best. Took me in 30 minutes before they were closing with no problem.
Before I went to them I went to discount tire in RSM where they had me order the wrong part for my vehicle and did not want to work on my car since they were closing in an hour. They had no consideration for the weather and my vehicle driving in dangerous conditions.
All the Romona tire staff was awesome and got to work on my car right away. It turns out my vehicle did not need a new part and they were able to use the old part and put the new tires on.
Great place.

Went in for new tires and Dennis was awesome. He matched the price my husband had found online and took very good care of us. Thank you so much for all you did for us.

I went there to mount and balance two tires. I got a call from either Jeff or George, he said that the control arms on both sides of my car were BROKEN. If you know anything about cars, you know that you can not stear at all with BROKEN control arms. He quoted me $ 300/​side. I did not believe him and took my car to my trusted mechanic Jim at Automotive Plus. Jim put my car on the lift and checked out the control arms. He said there is absolutely nothing wrong with the control arms. It’s a shame people make a living off lying to other people. I know I am NEVER GOING TO RAMONA TIRE AGAIN.

Came early on weekday and spoke with an awesome rep named Dennis. He really took care of my service needs. Swapped out two worn out tires, rotated them for free, and even gave me a decent military /​veterans discount… in UNDER ONE HOUR!!!
Saved me a lot of time ($$$), they have reasonable prices, and their customer service is professional and knowledgeable.
Would come back because they are DEFINITELY DOING THINGS RIGHT AT THIS LOCATION!

I think they’re okay for the jobs they did; however, know the price and know your car. They tried to sell me a brake fluid change that I didn’t need and tried to sell me tires at 20% higher than their own regular retail price. My car just had brake fluid change 3 months ago at the dealership and they told me that their ‘sensor’ detected problems in the fluid.
Take your business elsewhere.

I must say I was quite impressed with the level of service. I got a nail in my tire during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. After talking to the gentleman at the front counter, I was quite impressed with his level of service. First, he encouraged me to return to Costco where I bought the tires as they would be covered under warranty and would save me the cost of a repair and/​or replacement. After a minute, he saw my 2 crazy kids running around and offered to look at it anyways. He walked out and confirmed it wasn’t leaking. After more inspection he determined that it didn’t actually puncture the tire and was able to remove the nail for me. He saved me so much hassle and didn’t charge me a dime. I have never been so impressed with anyone. I should go back and get his name just to say thanks properly. I can honestly say this will be my first stop for replacement tires in the future!

I could not be more happy with the decision I made to stop here. Excellent service. Wonderful staff! Dennis and Todd are amazing. I went on my lunch break to get an oil change and they were so kind and got it done in record time! Thanks guys! :)

Went to Ramona Tire on a Sunday because my car was in desperate need of an oil change. There staff was very friendly especially Todd. 2 days later I had my teenage son take his truck there and Todd was very efficient. Before just doing the work he called me to let me know what work needed to be done on the truck and cost. I am extremely impressed with there customer service. Also the store was very clean. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

We have had both our cars serviced there many times. Today I was there for new tires again and the service was excellent and work done in a timely manner as usual. Thank you Todd for
all your help. We would recommend Ramona to family and friends. Again thanks for the great job.

Services are more pricey compared than local competitors if you don’t do your homework… You get quoted the manual /​book labor prices vs what it actually takes to compete the repair or service which is double what others in the area ask for doing the same work.

This is a typical BS automotive repair setup. These guys, Dennis in particular, just can’t get that we are all supposed to be able to trust what someone says, not have to watch out for people like him. Lie # 1. It will take 30 – 40 minutes to replace your 4 tires. Although I decided to have 2 shocks put on the rear due to one leaking he assured me no additional time was necessary. I left 3 hours later. Lie # 2. After telling me I should get all 4 shocks as he had a ‘buy 3 get one free deal going on’ and me saying no as he said 600.00 to test the waters, I agreed to 2 and glared at him, I’m not that big a fool. Ended up 250.00 for 2. Lie # 3. They broke the cover that is over the lug nuts and requires a special tool to remove as a theft deterrent. He, Dennis, hands me the piece and says «It was so brittle it fell apart». Wrong. I am attaching a picture that clearly shows it was broken by it being over tightened. Also, there were no apologies or offers to fix it. It wasn’t broken when it got there, none of the others are brittle and when I did fix it this afternoon it took needle nose pliers and a metal file to repair the area it came from so I could epoxy a repair on.
How slow was this place? The guy working on my truck bragged about it. In response to a comment by a co-​worker about the pace of the repairs the guy states,” Ya, i am on low key today”. Customers heard it because we were standing outside the work area in the parking lot wondering what was going on to take so much time. I was so late getting away from there I asked Dennis to check me out so I was ready. The bill was over a thousand dollars and I smelled BS without even looking at the rest of the bill he handed me. Dennis started dancing around the numbers and I asked him to stop! Just how much were the tires only. He then revealed the «Computer adds on extras and I was going to remove them. Lie # 4. No, you were not. You handed me the bill and had my credit card. I brought this to his attention and he just plowed ahead. Apparently he thought because they had made me hours late I would be in a hurry and just accept it. Wrong.
The final example of the customer service they provide was when I called back to ask them why my truck was shaking when I was doing 50 mph. No problem, bring it back and we will fix it. For 100.00. That would be the cost of a alignment which was fine when I brought it to them. If the tires were properly balanced then there should have been no issues. Sorry, 100.00.
Mr. Hahn who was waiting in the parking lot as well had mentioned he got a free alignment with his 4 tire purchase. He didn’t even buy shocks or have his wheel broken. We spent so much time talking we are even Facebook friends now.

Bought 4 tires for mini van. Their quote seemed high so I went outside and called another company and got a quote over the phone that was much less. I went back inside and suggested I might have to go elsewhere because I found a much cheaper quote. Dennis and his manager quickly worked the numbers and were able to meet the price plus throw in some other extras that made it worth my time. They told me it would be done at 6:00 but it hadn’t been started when I came back at 6:00. So, they pulled it in and had it done by 6:30 and for my troubles, they upgraded my tires to Firestone’s with 65K mile warranty instead of the 30K mile warranty tires I had selected. I don’t know why Dennis chose to do this as I told him I was not upset and it wasn’t necessary. He said he wanted to do something for me since the car was not ready as indicated. Very good customer service.

These guys are awesome. Great service. They fixed some out bulbs on our truck and trailer. No cost. Bought tired there and the cost was competitive.
They are quick and helpful. Been going there for three years. I won’t go anywhere else!!!

This was my first time at this location, and the service was great! Dennis is a really nice guy and explained everything to me perfectly. They replaced my battery within 5 minutes and topped off my fluids quickly as well, along with giving me an oil change, too. I was treated very genuinely here by the entire staff. I was lucky enough to get here on a weekday on my day off from work, so that probably sped up the process. Ramona tires is a great place for any auto needs. I’d definitely recommend this location to my peers.

Ramona Tires is THE WORST place for any car service, but especially an oil change! I went twice because I live down the street and I should have learned from the first experience not to ever return. They quoted me an hour which was then turned into 4 and a half hours! They did nothing when I spoke with the manager — they made me late for work. Second time I took my boyfriends car and they stripped his oil plug and took SIX HOURS!!! They are the most UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, CLUELESS business I have ever come across. Come to Valvoline! :)

Not sure if Dennis was trying to rip me off because I am a woman or just because but I went in there without my husband to get a quote. He took a look at my car and then he types and types and types and then lays out a quote for me of over $ 900 but then another piece of paper with a «discount» for a free tire that is just over $ 700. I was surprised because my husband had been looking online the night before and the quotes he was finding were in the $ 500-​$ 600 range with some even lower. So when I expressed surprise about the quote Dennis typed and typed some more and then wrote down some other quotes with the lowest being around $ 600 for «name brand» tires but then advised me that these are the tires that customers put on cars before they return them to the dealer instead of spending more money for better quality. I thanked him for his time and told him my husband would follow up as necessary. I brought the quotes home and my husband said that Dennis had inflated with quotes with a bunch of unnecessary line items that I didn’t ask for and didn’t need and none of the prices he found online with competing tire stores came close to the inflated prices Dennis was quoting.
As a woman this is just annoying because it makes us feel like we are being taken advantage of just because we are women and it makes me wonder if my husband had gone in there instead of me what the price quoted would be. But in any event we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I brought my new (used) car in because the previous owners had a good deal of work done there, and it made sense to continue that. After all they new the car and the previous owners were happy, so …
The guy that took the order was polite, seemed to know what he was doing. It was all pretty direct: tire pressure warning light, rotate the tires, check the valve stems as I was loosing a little air in each tire. Two hours later they called, all was done, no big problem.
So off I go to pick up the car. And the CLOWN SHOW begins. Shows me the bill, it’s still in the old owners name, but heck, no big deal. Beyond the ability of the evening guy to change so we go ahead. I note the cost is only $ 61, so no biggy. Of course we have lots of looking at the computer, typing, figuring. And he says to me, $ 860. And I say WHAT for rotating the tires? No he says for the new tires. I didn’t get tires. Just a rotation.
OH! more computer typing and figuring and looking and thinking, and he says ok $ 63.50. So I think, ok the bill I saw didn’t have taxes or some such. Swipes my credit card and prints the receipt. Hands me the bill and as I look at it, I see it is not even for my car or for what was done to my car. So I say, whats up with this. Oh gee, let me see. Looking, typing sweating. So he says, I’ll just reprint this for your car.
Now I get a receipt for the original $ 61.00. But wait I say, what about my $ 2.50. We’ll just call it even he says. No we wont, you made a mistake. Oh but its too hard to fix. Have to call in take us hours. It’s only 2.50. No I say it will take you hours for me it will take as long as it takes to give me my $ 2.50. Really, is it my responsibility to pay for someone’s mistake? So he takes it out of the cash drawer and gives it to me.
By the way, the fix, well that didn’t work either.
I’ll be going else where in the future.

Took my tire in to have a slow leak looked at. I did not make an appointment but Jack assured me it would be repaired the same day. I left the car and was told they were very busy so it would be done by 5:30. It was done on time and for no charge.
I’ve bought many tires from here over the years and will continue to do so because of great service like this.
