Great results, great service. Very pleased. I had Lasik with the senior Dr Ghosheh in 1999 with good results. Then 15 years later young Dr Ghosheh performed cataract surgery with great results. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I went here for LASIK surgery, and I could not be more ecstatic about my experience here. Both Dr. Faris Ghosheh, and his father Dr. R.K. Ghosheh are phenomenal. They both tested my eyes for my consultation in order to make sure I was a candidate for LASIK surgery. They explained the process in detail, and had me watch a short video to make sure I was aware of how the surgery worked, and what to expect. After determining that I was a candidate, I scheduled my surgery for the following week. Both doctors retested my eyes the day of the surgery, and made sure they had completely accurate numbers & measurements of my eyes. Throughout the surgery, they explained what was happening, and kept talking to me to help keep me calm and know what to expect next. The nurses were very caring as well. One nurse Janet came around to all of us in between, and gave me numbing drops in my eyes to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. The surgery went GREAT. The doctors both congratulated me, and said this would be life-​changing since my eye sight was quite poor prior to the surgery, and I had a severe astigmatism. I went back for my follow up appointment this morning. Dr. R.K. Ghosheh removed my contact bandages and cleaned up my eyes. Even though my eyes are still hazy, he ran a few tests. One day after the surgery, and he determined I ALREADY have ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision! They are so friendly, and they genuinely care about you and your eyes. I also love that they’re so heavily involved with the Anaheim Ducks, that’s a huge plus in my book. Fellow Anaheim Ducks fans, they will take great care of you. THANK YOU to both doctors, you have truly made my life better already. I can’t wait to see how much my vision improves when the haziness goes away. I CAN FINALLY SEE!!!

My husband had an appointment last week in the morning. Because he is a new patient, the wait was a little longer than usual. After 45 minutes of waiting, I needed to use the bathroom. I approached the front desk and asked the receptionist if I could use their restroom. Without almost never taking her eyes off her computer, she proceeded to tell me that their restroom was «out of order» and I needed to use the bathroom downstairs. So I took the elevator to the bathroom downstairs. I continued to wait for my husband and a few minutes later a person (also waiting), asked to use the bathroom and she gladly let them in to use theirs in the back. Two more people asked and they were allowed to use their restroom. At this point I was feeling upset. Why was I not good enough to use the facilities in their office, but others were. I was asked to go downstairs and they were not. I am Hispanic, they were not. I observed the receptionist for about an hour interact with the different patients coming in. If the patients were of middle eastern descent, they were treated like royalty. The rest of the patients with a normal welcome. The doctors are great. They don’t know what goes on in the front area. I would not recommend this office if you are not from the Middle East. The office is nice and comfortable and clean. I only wish all people entering their office would be treated equally. I wish I would of recorded my experience because I know Nobody is going to believe me. Thank you for listening.

Dr. Ghosheh has a professional attitude and is always happy to listen to your concerns and address them. He’s one of the few iLasik Doctors in the southern California region. Their office is also powered by solar from the covered parking! The office staff is also amazing by their friendliness!

I saw Dr. Ghosheh two weeks ago for a chronic eye condition that my primary doctor didn’t take seriously. He listened to all my concerns, did a thorough exam and made sure I understood my condition and the medications he was prescribing. I highly recommend this place!

Had my laser eye surgery a few months and everything went perfect. Could not be happier with the outcome.

I have had several eye appointments at their office starting with Dr. Wong and progressing to Dr. Ghosheh for surgery (eye lid reduction). I had the surgery on June 23, 2015. Everything was done with perfection, from pre-​op to surgery. My vision has improved beyond my expectations. I will have a follow up in two weeks.
I can’t say enough about how great this office (Advanced Eye Medical Group) is. I read a comment earlier complaining about their eyes being dilated. Who doesn’t go for tests without expecting this? You could have said no but would probably have had to go back for that test. Having your eyes dilated gives the doctor a better view of the back of your eye. I am sure it does other beneficial things for them but I am not a doctor.
I feel Dr. Wong and Dr. Ghosheh are both personable, professional and articulate. If you are thinking about coming here, you will not be disappointed.

I was sent over as an emergency case from my regular doctor, I was suffering from a viral infection in my eye that had moved into my lymph nodes, they got me in within hours and prescribed the appropriate drops and medication that got me on the mend quickly.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Faris Ghosheh for a 8 years. He’s an exceptional physician and by far has the best bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. However, four months ago I went to see Dr. Ghosheh for my annual visit. His new assistant Shawnee was extremely unfriendly and very unprofessional. As she was calling patients into the exam room she seemed annoyed and very abrupt. Initially, I thought it was me being overly sensitive but I quickly learned that the other patients waiting commented that she’s rude and condescending. She finally called my name to go into the exam room. As she was prepping me I started asking her general questions about my exam but her answers were dismissive and her tone was insolent and reactionary. When Dr. Faris finally came into the exam room I felt a sense of relief.
On my second visit I needed some tests done, but to my dismay Shawnee was again the assistant. During the tests, once again, her behavior was deplorable. I tried to be as cooperative as possible with her so that the appointment would be completed as quickly as possible. She was annoyed with a patronizing attitude and didn’t try to hide that she thinks you’re a moron.
Shorty after I got home I realized how horrible and uncomfortable I felt during my visit. I’ve never been treated like I had no knowledge and with such disrespect. I’ve been treated better at the DMV!
Word of advise if the doctor requests those tests done with Shawnee be sure someone else is in the exam room with you.
Sadly, I will be taking my business elsewhere not because of the doctors but because of Shawnee.

I previously had a misunderstanding with Dr R K Ghosheh, Everything is great now and I felt obliged to express my opinion. Generally Dr Ghosheh is kind and soft spoken with a very friendly attitude. He is a vastly knowledgeable and experienced ophthalmologist. He had done several successful eye procedures on me with no complication. His fees are most reasonable and he accepts many if not all health plans. His office is clean and and quiet. His office staff are considerate and very eager to help. The office manager, MS Deena is a capable lady and doing a fine job. I recommend Dr Ghosheh with no reservation.

Dr. Farish Gosheh is not only an excellent doctor, but a very caring doctor. Even though when I see him I’m always sitting upright in the exam room, he has great bedside manners. :-) He’s been my doctor for many years now and I’m sure that will continue for many years into the future since I do have a chronic condition. To give you an example of his caring ways, he came into the office on Christmas Eve several years back and I believe it was on the weekend… might have even been on Sunday to see special patient cases; me being one of them. That is what I call a truly dedicated doctor. He’s won several Patients’ Choice Awards year after year… not sure how and when you vote, but he’s got my vote locked up!
In regards to another reviewer stating that the appointment times can get behind sometimes, I’m ok with that since he spends as much time with each patient in making sure that they get proper diagnosis and care while allowing you to ask as many questions/​concerns as needed. Wouldn’t you want that type of quality time with your doctor versus a doctor who seems overly rushed? I’ve been in both situation and I’ll take Dr. Farish Gosheh over any doctor that is more concerned about keeping to his appointment schedule.

I have been a patient of Dr. Faris Ghosheh for almost 4 years. He is both professional and extremely knowledgeable as well as attentive each and every time I have been to his office. His office staff is friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend Advanced Eye Medical, Dr. Faris Ghosheh.

We love Dr. Ghosheh!!! The whole process for my husband’s LASIK surgery went smoothly. We had the young Dr. Ghosheh and he was super friendly and very comforting. This is a great place to do surgery! The day after surgery my husband’s vision was 100% better. He never had any discomfort or any difficulty post surgery. We are so glad we chose this doctor, and we wouldn’t change a thing! I had an appointment at Advanced Eye Medical Group last week, however it was with Dr Wong.
Im really torn on this review.
When I first arrived, I checked in and filled out some paperwork. I was taken into a room where they did a test or two, where I had to click the button every time something flashed, and I saw it. I was then asked if I was just there for an eye exam, and I said no — I am there for a diabetes testing exam… I did not recall the actual name. I felt they should have known what I was there for.
Dr Wong took patient after patient into the eye exam room, then they would come back into the waiting room. Exam room, waiting room, next person. I was taken in, did a few tests, then was told I was going to be getting some eye drops. My eyes were dilated, which would have been extremely helpful to know in advance. I was trying to work while waiting, and of course I was unable to read anything once my eyes started to dilate. Also, I had to drive to another appointment in Santa Ana from this office, and Im not so sure that was a great idea with everything blurry. Again, it just would have been nice to know in advance.
I felt like Dr Wong was a bit condescending when speaking to me. This was the first time I met him, so I do not know if this is his usual tone, but I didnt really care for it. The office staff was nice in the small amounts I talked to them. I received a referral from my doctor for this office, so in the future when I need this testing again, I will request another office. My overall experience wasnt horrific, so to be fair I will leave my stars right in the middle.

Doctor Faris Ghosheh was very dedicated and helped me with my eye problem. He was precise and accurate.

I had my lasik surgery 14 years ago in 2000, performed by Dr. Ghosheh. I researched 100’s of Dr.‘s at that time and he was the very best. I also talked to people that had surgery performed by him 10 years before mine and they had no side affects. This was the absolute best decision I have ever made in my life! My vision was horrible before and I had extremely thick glasses/​contacts for most of my life. The lasik has paid for itself 10 times over because I don’t have to buy glasses or contacts. Thank you Dr. Ghosheh!!! :)

The Ghosheh’s are great doctors. They done over 40,000 surgeries and only use the most top notch equipment. The cost of the surgery is comparable to most other places.
I thought they did a great job with my eyes. It was worth very penny. I see as well i i ever saw with contacts twi days after the surgery. I appreciated that they gave me a discount for being a student.
Medically, this place gets 5 stars. Staff wise, it’s on the same level. Everyone one here is extremely friendly. The nurses in the back do a great job of taking care of you while you’re in the procedure. I especially appreciated that because you have to be conscious during the procedure and it’s very disconcerting to have people poking you’re eye while you’re looking at it.
The reason I knocked it down a star is because if their consistent inability to see an appointment through on time. It normally doesn’t bug me to wait a little bit, but when my appointments are averaging to 45 min to an hour late, it makes me wonder why they can’t just schedule me an hour later. I find it pretty disrespectful of my time.

Going to the doctor is never a good experience, but this one was.
Dr. Faris Ghosheh was fantastic. I got my exam on time, he took his time explaining to me all of the options and best of all he was not trying to sell me an expensive procedure. He recommended great set of glasses. I will be going back to see him in 6 month for the regular checkup.
I am an active person and I love sports, my eyes are very important to me. If you do any sports, this is the doctor for you. He understands what athletes go thru and their needs. I heard that he is the official Doctor for the Anaheim Ducks.
Everyone has recommended him for the Lasik Surgery. When I am ready, I will go back and have it done by him.
P. S. I like the personal touch that he provides, the fact that every time I go for a checkup I see him personally.

I had cataract surgery done on both eyes a year apart. The results were excellent in both cases. More importantly, the consultations and information both before and after the surgery were extremely helpful in understanding what to expect. The surgical team was excellent to the point of worrying about how warm and comfortable I was both pre and post op. The son, Dr Feris Gosheh, was the one who did my entire course of treatment and has an A+ «bedside manner». It’s quite a thing to have someone stick a needle way into your eye and watch daylight disappear as the cataract is removed and finally to see the light when the operation is over.
Don’t be afraid to let this man operate on you. I am a nationally ranked table tennis player, my eyesight is important to me, and didn’t realize how much I was missing until I finally got great eyesight back. I am 73 and would urge anyone, no matter how old, to keep your eyes in top notch shape. There are so many beautiful things around you to see as well as possible including sunsets, grandchildren, your lovely wife, (not necessarily in that order). For me, having my good eyesight back after living all these years with glasses, and not realizing how diminished my eyesight had become, is like a gift from God.
In all of the followup visits, Dr Faris Gosheh was very proactive in coaching me on exactly how to avoid glaucoma by properly treating my eyes daily. We experimented with different eye drops until we got the one that works best for me to keep my eye pressure in a safe zone. A less caring doctor would have just recommended something without carefully watching the result. The extra care is what makes this doctor stand out.
